Since it's a long weekend, my husband and I planned a tour together. And after a long drive, here we are ended up in La Briza Resort. It was located at Pinamungajan City Cebu, around south. We're not familiar with the place, this is our first time here and gladly we loved it. When we arrived at the place, my husband decided to go for a swim immediately. He wants to try the how deep the pool is, for me to know since I don't know how to swim. Luckily enough, the pool is only 4ft to 6ft and I'm 5 flat so it's fine with me.
Later on, we ordered food for our lunch. We're so hungry and tired at this moment because of the long drive but it's all worth it. We're just thankful that we had a time like this, enjoying ourselves from the hectic schedules. It just rarely happens so we enjoyed every seconds of this travel. Going back, we ordered 1 platter of rice, pork pochero, lechon kawali, and one bottle of soft drinks since I don't feel to drink soda at this time. The foods we're very delicious. It's superb.👌 While eating, we're just having some chicka galore. Sharing how our weeks end and the rest is history. 😅 We have a lot of catch-ups to do.
This travel is an overnight. So we get a room to checked in. This room is good for two persons, but upon checking the room is very big that can fill up with another two persons. The room is also an air condition, it has a wifi connection and has a flat screen TV if you want to watch netflix and chill. The room has it's own comfort room. It was so comfy that I think I can sleep here all day. Expect that I'll be snoring later when we go to sleep. 😂
Later at night when we woke up from our afternoon nap, we decided to go outside and roam around the place since we don't have the chance earlier because we're so tired that we choose to go to sleep first. And here we are, ended up at the swimming pool area. It has a lounge chair for you to rest. The evening view was just beautiful so I took a picture immediately. This area is very perfect for relaxation and thinking deep thoughts. The cold night breeze makes me want to sleep here till dawn.
After some time, we then decided to have a walk to fully see the beauty of the whole place. And we ended up here, we didn't notice this earlier when we arrived but it was located at the entrance of the resort. Maybe because it was more eye catching at night because of the lights surrounded in it. We took a picture individually with my husband because we can't see other person roaming around that we can pleased to take a picture of us.
My husband's picture vs mine. 🤗 It is really more beautiful at night. You can appreciate how amazing the place is. The lights surrounds the place compliment the greenery plants around. The place is very peaceful and calm.
We discovered that the resort has it's own mini bar. They are selling different kinds of alcoholic drinks and beverages. My husband bought a San Miguel Beer and mine is Smirnoff. Then we go back to the swimming pool area to sip our drinks and chill. And my husband asked me to take a picture of him holding his beer, as if he's the model of the San Miguel Beer drink. 🤣 Then we had a chat about the happenings in life.
We raised our bottles and cheered to our drinks for the moment we had today. This will be cherished for sure.
After we finished our drinks, we then decided to go to our room to sleep since it's already late at night. We just called it a day. And we will wake up early tomorrow for sure to spend the rest of time on swimming.
When we woke up, we immediately order food for our breakfast. I had plain rice, egg and corned beef. For my drink I ordered coffee. While my husband, ordered plain rice, hotdog and corned beef. For his drink, he had juice.
After eating, we rest for awhile and go for a swim since we need to check out at 12:00 PM.
With a heart full of gratitude and a camera full of memories, I thank La Briza for the great experience and for the good accommodation. La Briza Resort offered us more than just a peaceful escape; it gave us memories that will linger long after the trip is over.
