Hello wanderers! It's me again, Marinel (minelwanders20) sharing with you another travel blog. This journey was made even more special as it was shared with my family. We decided to celebrate the year's victories, big and small, as well as the challenges we overcame together before Christmas. From the joyous moments to the difficult trials that tested our strength, this trip became a reflection of our resilience and gratitude. Together, we embraced the beauty of life's ups and downs, ready to face whatever comes next.
The road to Casay Beach is a fun trip. From Cebu City, the drive along the South Coastal Road gives travelers beautiful views of the sea, green hills, and small fishing villages. As you get closer to Dalaguete - known as the "Vegetable Basket of Cebu" - the cool breeze and roadside stalls selling fresh vegetables show you're near this coastal paradise.
Driving to Casay Beach offers more than just a destination. The trip from Cebu City along the South Coastal Road is full of lovely sights, including the sparkling sea, rolling green hills, and quiet fishing villages. Near Dalaguete, known for its fresh product, the cool breeze and roadside stalls remind you that your beach adventure is close. This simple yet rewarding drive is preview of the beauty waiting at Kasay Beach.
We choose Casay Beach in Dalaguete because we heard from others who have been there that the see is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. They said it's a great place to unwind and feel refreshed. So, without any second thoughts, we decided that Casay Beach would be the perfect spot to celebrate our life's little victories. The peaceful vibe of the beach promised the break we needed from our daily routine. It was our way of rewarding ourselves, enjoying the simple beauty of nature, and making special memories in a calm and quiet place.
When we arrived at the beach, it was already a low tide, so the sea was far from the shore. All we could see were the rocks scattered across the exposed seabed. I realized this must be how the underwater landscape looks when the tide is high. The sand wasn't really fine and white: it was quiet rocky, but that didn't take away from the beauty of the surroundings. The place still felt incredibly refreshing because of the many plants and trees around. The lush greenery added to the charm, making the atmosphere calm and perfect for relaxing despite the rocky shore.
We took the chance to take pictures of the place. At frits, we stayed under the trees, sitting and leaning against them, enjoying the fresh air coming from the sea. The breeze was so cool, and the wind was strong, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It felt so peaceful to just sit here, feeling the calming atmosphere. While waiting for the tide to rise, we made the most of the moment, appreciating the beauty of our surroundings. The cool shade and fresh air made it a great spot to pause, reflect, and enjoy the simple joys of nature.
At this time, the water was slowly rising, getting closer to high tide. We were excited to finally jump in and enjoy the sea. We didn't swim earlier when it was low tide because we were too tired from chasing the water, which was really far from the shore. So, we decided to wait patiently for the water to come up. Once it reached a good level, we couldn't wait any longer and eagerly got in. It felt so refreshing to finally swim and experience the beauty of the sea, after waiting for the perfect moment to enjoy it fully.
My mother was also taking her time to enjoy the place and the scenic view. She was fully immersed in the beauty around her, appreciating the peaceful atmosphere. After a while, she asked me to take a picture of her, wanting a remembrance of this beautiful place. She smiled as she sat down there on the rock, feeling the moment, knowing it would be a memory to treasure. It was heartwarming to see her so relaxed and happy, taking in the calmness of the surroundings. The photo would be a special reminder of a peaceful day spent together at the beach.
Kasay Dalaguete Beach is more than just a place to visit; it’s a peaceful retreat for the mind and soul. Whether you're looking quiet time alone, bonding with loved ones, or simply escaping the stress life brings, this beach has everything you need. The calm vibe, beautiful surroundings, and refreshing waters create the ideal setting to unwind and recharge. It’s a spot to enjoy life’s simple pleasures—sun, sand, and peace. So pack your bags, take the journey, and let Kasay Beach offer you a relaxing getaway, reminding you of the beauty in life's simple moments.
