Our Most Visited Resort in Mati City

in Worldmappin2 years ago

Mati City has a variety of beach resorts. There are beach resorts near surfing sites, beach resorts with calm seas, and beach resorts with white sand beach lines.

Now let me take you to our most visited beach resort here in Mati City and of course, this is one of our favorites - the Resurreccion Beach Resort. Almost every month or week we visit this resort. Most of our special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries are also held here.

Maybe you will ask why. Well, here are the reasons.

First is the location. The resort is just a 10-15 minute drive from our home. The resort is very accessible from the national highway.

Second is the resort's clean and calm seas where our kids can enjoy their swimming time. Low tide or high tide, they can swim freely with minimum supervision. Just today, we had an early swimming time since it is a holiday in the Philippines.

We were the only guests at this time at this portion. While the kids are enjoying the swimming time, I also enjoyed taking pictures.

As you can see, the sea is in the lower portion, the stairs in the picture is for the nearby resort but it will give you the idea of low steep it is before reaching the waters. Good thing there is also an accesible stairs.
Months ago, I also had a photo of Eila playing in the seawater.

The family really enjoy the time here.

The third reason is the affordable entrance fee and cottages. The entrance fee is Php 25.00. The resort has a variety of cottages which has a rental fee of Php 700.00 - Php 7,000.00. One can choose for day tour or overnight. These are some of the cottages and rooms for rent.

One of our favorite cottages is this one because when you go out, you can have a right away access to the seawater.
It has a accomodate up to 10 people. In my husband's birthday last year, we celebrated it here. This cottage cost Php 5,000.00 for an overnight stay.

At present they have renovated and created more cottages. This place now have cottages.

As you can see there is a barrier, since the place is steep and the new cottages now have their own barriers too. One of the things that worry me when kids are in the upper side is the possibility that they will fall down, so we really make sure that we are keeping an eye for them.

Here are some rock formations too.

Overall, we love this beach and we recommend this to people visiting Mati City.

That's all for now Hivers. I am hoping for your usual support, even if I am not always active in this platform. Keep safe everyone!

Looks so beautiful and fun there. A great place to go for everyone to unwind at it. I bet it was nice not seeing it packed there even though it was a holiday. Your chosen cottage that you stayed at last year looks perfect. I can imagine opening the windows at night falling asleep to the sounds of the sea. Thanks for sharing :)

Yes, this is really beautiful, we had again a trip yesterday, Saturday here in the Philippines. There are really times that there are many people here, especially on Christmas and New Year holidays. You are right that in the night, it was really relaxing hearing the sound of the waves. Thanks for dropping by.
