Short Staycation at Tagaytay + Side trips

in Worldmappin2 years ago (edited)

Good day, Hive Community!

I am taking a break from my Taiwan Article to give way to the recent travel and short stay in Tagaytay.

I and my husband got the chance to visit Tagaytay for the 1st time because we attended the wedding of my cousin which was also held within the Cavite Province.

The wedding was held in Viridis Countryside Garden. The place was nice and solemn, very appropriate for the event.

It is a garden wedding and we arrived at the place earlier so we have all the time to take pictures of the place while there are only a few people.

So here's a picture of us, before the wedding started. So raw, still not in our formal dress. Well, reminds me of our wedding day 10 years ago. And here's a picture of us after the wedding ceremony.

The wedding reception followed. Everyone enjoyed the celebration, there's no dull moments.

All are well, thanks to the wedding hosts and organizers who made their best for the event. Most of all, thanks to God for blessing the event.

After the wedding, we directly went to the place we reserved. It is located in Cityland Tagaytay Prime Residences which I booked through Agoda. I am happy that it is really Instagrammable and clean and comfortable to stay. What's in the photos is true in reality.

Since it was already late at night, we preferred to rest.

Early in the morning, we decided to have a morning walk. We had our breakfast at Mcdonalds' to have an overlooking view. We enjoyed the morning view.

After breakfast, we prepared for our Tagaytay Sky Ranch trip. Tagaytay Ranch is one of the most popular places to visit in Tagaytay. We arrived at around 9:30 AM, the entrance fee is Php 100.00.

We took unlimited pictures of Taal's view.

Here's my photo with Taal. It's already sunny this time as evident with my face. lol.

We did not avail of any rides, we just enjoyed watching others availing the rides.

One of the exhibits that amazed me is this collection of volcanic rocks, although it did not have a label, we suppose that the said rocks were from volcanic eruptions.

After our Tagaytay Ranch experience, we also tried the Bulalo of Tagaytay. It is one of the delicacies that they said should not be missed when visiting Tagaytay. We dine at Dahon at Mesa located along Nasugbo highway. Here's the photo of our order!

It really tastes good, the most delicious one among the Bulalo that I tasted before. In this place, we again see the view of Taal from another angle which is another added experience.

We then decided to buy pasalubong. We walked almost 2 km to reach an affordable store for buying pasalubong. It is called "Carmela's". They are known for their banana cake but they also have other delicacies which are made by them which makes it affordable compared to others.

After which, we ride a bus to go back to Manila, we went to Venice Italy Mall to meet our relatives who also attended the wedding. Of course, we did not miss the picture taking opportunity!

The place was really cozy!

Overall our Tagaytay experience with other side trips was great! We enjoyed the company of each other and the company of our loved ones as well. Next time, hoping to bring our kids to our next travels.

Thanks for reading and I hope that you enjoyed the journey with us! Till the next travel blog.

Keep safe everyone!
