Delhi gate and Gali Surjan Singh

in Worldmappin18 days ago

Hello guys. I am again with the new beautiful post of the Lahore. A city of Mughal empires and city of architect from 17th century. Which is a beautiful city according to me because of it's aesthetic look and historical places. And I always get a new experience when I visited Lahore City. Today I visited Walled city of Lahore Delhi gate. A place of royalty.

It was about 4:00 p.m. when we arrived at Delhi gate. Before this we were at Urdu Bazar Lahore and Anarkali Bazar. I was with my cousin and my sister. They have to buy some books and some stationery things from Urdu Bazar.

This was the beautiful look of Delhi gate from outside. And I was just amaze to see that how the old architect create a big building at that era.

In the above picture you can see the details of Delhi gate. About its construction and how it was used. It is a bazar type path and also well known as shahi guzargah. Where from Royal peoples visited the whole city.

This was the inner look of this gate. It was down from the upper side and a big jhumar was hanging in the middle of this gate. And this was security. They said that we are sitting here to give people Royal feeling.

I am much fond of aesthetic things and a shop full of beautiful keychains and some different things. And this was looking absolutely my type. My sister first visited this shop and then I entered before her.

As I am a citizen boy so this shop was so perfect for me. Because of its desi looks. These are the parts in which we eat bread.

This is not so much old but according to the way how Mughal empires build. This is same as the Mughal empires architect. If someone is from Pakistan and India aur foreigner who had visited Pakistan he must know about this place because this is the famous place of Lahore.

My main purpose to visited Delhi gate, was to visit Gali surjan Singh. A famous street in Pakistan. Because of it's beautiful look and aesthetic plates.

Finally we entered in Gali surjan Singh. A beautiful place to visit for foreigners. Before this I have only see this place in videos and social media. And now when I am looking this in real life I was shocked.

Gali Surjan Singh

According to my experience I was not expecting that this Street really exist. Because this was just a lane. And how a lane has been built in a detailing way.

Every home has its name plate. And the name plate was written in wooden plate. And this was plus points for this lane. And can you imagine every houses open for the visitors. Anyone can visit by their permission.

A famous chai point in Lahore Usman ki baithak. But we don't have an experience of this tea point because of we were in hurry. We have to go back.

You will think I am always in hurry. Because I have to visit every place in my life. I have to visit that place which any visitor wants to visit.

In whole name this building was my favourite. Because of it's glowing shade and The doors. How lucky are they who are living in this place. In reality they are living life we are just passing our life.

Lovely

Now we were moving to the andruna Lahore. This whole place is managing by walled city of Lahore. Bare managing this place very well.

This was a haveli which was not open because of reconstruction. We visited from Street and we came back. If you will see video you can see how I enjoyed in whole journey.

Since I am using hive, I never think that I will make a post of a street. But now I am doing it because it deserves.

This place is known as khalifa Manzil. And this building was about three floors up. It's doors were done by a famous Pakistani architecture.

Guess what? I just see a place which was not I expecting in this street. Muglan da khoo. This is a well from the area of Mughal empires. Now it is reserved in a better way that no one can harmit. And I was very satisfied that many people are destroying the beauty of Mughal empires but this is still in its original condition.

This was you look from the inner side of well. I don't know how much it is deep and it is still drink able. But it was so cool.

Look at my excitement

One more place which I have only saw in social media. Now that is besides my eyes. This is a Fawary wali Baithak. In English we can say fountain drawing room.

At this point first we did a mistake and then we really laugh on that. We captured the whole scenery from inside. And then we read a board on which they have written no one can capture pictures without permission.

And we don't take permission and who is still feeling embarrassed. And when we look that the owner of this place he was still laughing because he had imagined our situation.

And he said you don't have to take any permission this is always open for you. At least you guys feel this and stop capturing the moment.

We have we explore all the beauty of Mughal empire now we had decided to go back. Only one place was left that was the inner side of Delhi gate.

If you have seen my old post of this beautiful architect, you can imagine that in every historical place this we get is compulsory. This architect and design is compulsory every Mughal constructions.*

I don't know why they are not giving permission to visit inside. And I have much curiosity to visit interior of this place. And Inshallah one day I will take permission from walled city of Lahore and I will visit.

I am much for that you will like this place and you must wants to visit this place because of it's history. The history I know about this Delhi gate is that it was a royal trail. And this was specially for Royal peoples.

I don't know how this big drum high from my eyes. But my eyes fall on it and I capture it. This is for a beat that time is over for visitors.

After having a great journey we go back to our home. And I was feeling so happy that I have explore a great place which I want. And I hope that you will also like my tour. If you really like it please give me a feedback in my comment section.

I also want to apologize for my mistyping In My last Post. I have tried that my last post was much appreciated by community. Due to a missed typing I write my post was not much appreciated. So I want to apologize for that.

The architecture of streets remind us of colonial and old times. It is fascinating to walk around these old heritage streets.
