A relaxing time in Moalboal, Cebu
After a very busy and tiring past months, I finally had the chance to go out on a trip. This time, I went to Moalboal, Cebu a beautiful place located in the Philippines. Moalboal is best known for the eye catching sardine run, great diving spots, and its awesome food. Since I was planning to work during this trip, we designed our itinerary to be a laid back one and we only did one special activity during our 4-day trip.
During our entire stay, the only activity that we did was Scuba dive and look for the well-known Sardine run. Luckily during this 30-min dive, we were able to see a lot of other interesting sea creatures that made this dive much more worth it. Aside from that, of course our second (or probably main 😆) priority is to eat a lot of great food in Cebu! This is my second time to visit Cebu and I just can't get enough of their food. I'll be sharing with you some photos and videos below from our Moalboal trip! I hope you like it.
Diving resort and looking for that Sardine Run!
View from the Diving Reasort
Before we go to the diving pictures, here is the view from our diving resort in Moalboal. Since we are planning to spend most of our time in the resort, we made sure that we stayed in one that has a great view, friendly staff, and excellent food! It's a bit more pricey than the other options, but heck it was worth it.
Scuba Diving in Moalboal
Our dive in Moalboal lasted around 30 minutes, with sardine run as the main attraction. Check out this photos and videos below to see what I'm talking about!
A very short video where we were tailing someone underwater 😬.

Here is a cool photo for a school of fish near the corals.
Amazing lechon and grilled squid!
For my favorite part of the trip, we ate a lot of delicious food during our stay in Cebu. The highlight for me was the grilled squid and Cebu lechon!
We got the grilled squid in a small restaurant that is 10-min drive away from the resort that we were staying in. The night before this picture was taken, we already ate there but was disappointed that the grilled squid was not available. Since we were already lazy to look for a different place to eat, we decided to eat there again the day after. Luckily, the grilled was available and it did not disappoint us! The texture of the squid was perfect and I could say that it is the best grilled squid that I have tried so far.
For my next favorite food during our trip, we have Cebu lechon.
Lechon or roasted pig in English is famous in Cebu because of the tender and juicy meat of the lechon. During our drive from Mactan airport to Moalboal, we decided to stop by Carcar City first for our lunch. Carcar City is well known for its declisious lechon. After tasting their lechon in Carcar, I can already say that my flight going to Cebu is well worth it.
There you have it! I hope you all enjoyed the photos and videos that I shared about my most recent trip in Cebu. Thank you for reading!
