Hello everyone, how are you today?
Has anyone ever climbed a mountain? Today, you and I climbed a mountain called the mountain of erected rocks. This mountain is located in Ha Tien city, Kien Giang province. This mountain is named Da Dung because of its upright shape, so it is named like that by the people here. The mountain is formed by many layers of limestone and creates many caves with unique animal shapes.
From a distance, the mountain is surrounded by green trees. Around the green trees are paths paved with stones. This is the road for visitors to go up to explore Da Dung mountain. The way up to the cave is 3149 meters long. Visitors will follow the path and on the path, there will be instructions for visitors to enter the beautiful and magical caves. Each cave will have its own beauty and visitors will admire the magical beauty of these caves.
Da Dung Mountain has about 14 different large and small caves. All create a mysterious, irresistible beauty for visitors to visit here. Each cave has a different name and it is associated with the ancient legends of Vietnam. In front of the caves, there will be a board recording the location of the cave and the legend that formed that cave. For example, the Kim Quy god cave will have sharp yellow stone pillars that look like a golden turtle. The bat cave will be the habitat of bats. Large holes are formed here and bats will nest in this place. There are also many caves to worship the Buddhas, each Buddha statue has its own majesty.
On the path up to explore the mountains and natural rock caves, you will encounter beautiful scenes of mountains, rice fields, and flowers. From the mountain, you can see the scenery of mountains, rice fields, rivers and lakes in the distance. They are one of the beauties of Vietnam's nature. Up on the mountain, you can breathe fresh, clean air. If you have troubles in life, you can come here, visit the beautiful scenery of the caves and see the beauty of Vietnam's nature from afar.
Because of the covid epidemic, there are very few tourists coming here, the whole mountain has only a few people to explore. I'm alone so I can't go into the deep caves. Those caves are very dangerous, dark and there is no phone signal so they are only suitable for adventure lovers and a large group of people. I was alone so I had to go back, I could only explore places that were less dangerous. After exploring all the caves here, I started to rest a bit, drink some water and go back down to the foot of the mountain. The way back is also very beautiful, the stairs, the flowers and the view from afar. All create a very strange beauty.
