Hello everyone, where did you go today?
Today, I returned to my hometown after many days away to prepare for the Tet holiday. My hometown is Quang Nam province in Vietnam where I have a lot of beautiful scenery. I will introduce to everyone a place that is the pride of my province in particular and of Vietnam in general. If tourists have come to my hometown, this place should not be missed. That is the monument of Thu Mother, the mother has many children and relatives who went to the battlefield to kill the enemy of the Vietnamese nation. Take a close look at the monument of the mother, in addition to the statue of the mother in the middle, around are the faces of the children who are away from home to go to war looking forward to their mother. This is a very beautiful image that is delicately carved by artists.
As soon as you enter the monument area, you will see 8 pillars made of very high stone, each pillar is 11m high and 2m in diameter. The pillars are meticulously sculpted, the pillars depict the emotional levels of Vietnamese mothers during wartime. These pillars help us remember the gratitude of mothers who gave birth to brave, resilient, and indomitable children during the period of fighting against foreign invaders.
Because about 3 more days is the traditional Vietnamese New Year, so many people put wreaths in memory of Thu's mother. The ornamental plants and rings shimmer in the sunlight. Potted plants and other plants are planted around the monument area, creating a cool space for the whole area.
With a total area of 15 hectares, the monument to Mother Thu is very large. At the foot of the statue of Thu Mother is a lake, this lake helps to regulate the climate for the area. Surrounded by green trees, it adds to the beauty of the monument. In the heart of the mother's monument is a museum that keeps the ancient artifacts of heroic Vietnamese mothers, but unfortunately, when I went here, the museum was closed for the Tet holiday, so I couldn't go in to take pictures. photos for all to see. Going out a little is a large garden planted with many trees and many communal houses for visitors to relax or eat in.
In the large garden of the monument area, there are many artistically cut stone blocks. On these stone blocks are written poems praising heroic Vietnamese mothers. The poems were composed by famous authors and were written during the anti-war period of the Vietnamese nation. When I read these poems, my heart evokes strong emotions, the feeling of nostalgia of a mother for her children when going to war and the feeling of a son when he is away from home to fight against foreign invaders.
