A Holy Blissful Journey

Hello friends, 🙏

Last week I travelled to Akkalkot, Kolhapur, and Pandharpur to visit my family's Kuldevta. I apologize for posting late. Friends, we have to visit our Kuldevta once a year. Going here gives us enthusiasm and energy. This was a journey of only two days; it is 450 km from Mumbai. Due to the direct expressway from Mumbai, we can reach here in just eight hours. I reached Akkalkot by car with my family at six in the morning; this is the holy land of a saint, Swami Samarth ji.

Jyotirling temple, Kolhapur
It comes from the Solapur district of Maharashtra. There is always a crowd of Swami ji's devotees here. From there we went to Pandharpur city, eighty kms away; it is a historical city. This city has great importance in the tradition of saints of Maharashtra; it is also located in this Solapur district. It is considered a very holy pilgrimage place of the Warkari sect.

There is a very old temple of Vitthal Bhagwan there. We visited Shri Vitthal Bhagwan and left for Kolhapur at four in the evening. It is a journey of about two hundred and fifty kilometers. We reached Kolhapur at eight thirty. Kolhapur is a district in Maharashtra. Here in Vadi Ratnagiri village, there is a Jyotiba temple situated on Jyotiba hill. This is my Kuldevta; he is also known as Dakshin Kedar Jyotirling. This is also an incarnation of Lord Shiva.

We stayed here for the night, and in the morning, after freshening up and visiting Jyotirlinga, we left for Mumbai. Friends, this was my pilgrimage. How did you like it? Please comment. Thank you.🙏
