You can see a fort inside the water in front of this beach, this fort is very ancient, the history of Maharashtra is associated with it. When there is high tide in the sea, when the water goes inside, you can go there on foot or on horse. This is a very beautiful fort, some people live there. They are people of Koli caste, who do fishing. Now the Maharashtra Government has handed over this fort to the Archaeological Department.
Today we cannot go there because we have to go early in the morning. We can go there in the evening when the water level goes inside. I have been there twice.
