Last month I went to Pandharpur; on the way we passed by the ISKCON Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple. I liked this temple very much. This was the first time I saw ISKCON temple. Friends, I liked the beauty, grandeur and cleanliness of ISKCON temple very much. After that, I don't know how, yesterday while talking to my wife at home, I was discussing the ISKCON temple, and then my wife said that this has just been built in our place in Navi Mumbai, and many people go to see the temple here.
I was very happy; I said, Let's go today itself to see the temple. We made a plan for four o'clock tomorrow evening, and we left to see the temple. Friends, it is just 12 kms from my place in Panvel. We reached there by train till Kharghar and then by bus. Friends, it was very close and I did not know about it. I reached there with my family. It was really very beautiful, picturesque and grand. And since it was Sunday yesterday, there was a huge crowd. You can see in the photo that beauty and grandeur are the specialties of ISKCON temple. Temples of this organisation are like this wherever they are.
I heard this when I went there. The founder of ISKCON organisation, Bhakti Vedanta Swamiji, established this organisation so that people could get the knowledge of Lord Krishna's philosophy, religion and culture. Friends, temples of this institution have been built at many places all over the world. And this institution is doing the work of spreading the knowledge of Krishna Bhakti. Here, all the idols of Ram, Lakshman, Sita, and Krishna installed in this temple are extremely beautiful and charming and bring joy to the mind of any person who comes here.
This temple and all the architecture of the temple complex are made of marble stone, so it looks very beautiful, you can see all the photos. How beautiful is it, isn't it? Friends, if there is such a temple near you, then I think you should definitely visit it. I think, keeping religion aside, we should definitely see the beauty and grandeur of the architecture there and the artwork done on the stone. I trained for 10 years in a iskcon temple in my country of South Africa in my youth a few decades ago. Bhaktivedanta Swami is my Guru. I visited iskcon temple in Juhu Mumbai briefly, and so I'm happy to see your photos of this mandir.
