Hello everyone, today I will tell you about the small village of Havarechchyna with a four-hundred-year history. The village became famous and interesting thanks to black ceramics. To this day, potters preserve the traditions of their craft. And I really wanted to see the picturesque Gavarechchyna with my own eyes.
Unfortunately, I did not make arrangements for the excursion the day before and my little trip could be postponed indefinitely. Therefore, I decided to go to the nearest village of Olesko, where there is a beautiful castle, and I decided to see and feel its ancient walls again and see something new.

На жаль я не домовилася про екскурсію напередодні і моя маленька подорож могла перенестися на невизначений термін. Тому я вирішила поїхати в найближче село Олесько, де знаходиться красивий замок і я вирішила вкотре побачити і відчути його старовинні мури і побачити щось нове.

Вже на виїзді в Олесько мені подзвонив щодо екскурсії пан Ігор. Він погодився прийняти мене з Максимом і показати всю красу Гавареччини. Тоді я проїхала ще 20 кілометрів поки ми потрапили в зовсім інший світ і атмосферу.
I visited many ethnic museums, open-air museums, but it is here in Havarechchyna that I feel sincerity and love for my land. These are values that no amount of money in the world can buy. Every corner of the old wooden house contains incredibly rich Ukrainian culture and is filled with household items of the peasants who lived here. And such simple, as it seemed to me at first glance, things of daily use are becoming more and more rare.
Я відвідувала багато етно музеїв, скансен містечок, але саме тут на Гавареччині Я відчуваю щирість і любов до свого краю. Це такі цінності, які ні за які гроші світу не купити. Кожен куточок старовинної дерев'яної хати містить неймовірну багату українську культуру і наповнений засобами побутового вжитку селян, які тут проживали. І такі прості, як здавалося мені на перший погляд речі щоденного вжитку стають щораз рідкіснішими.

I have a love for clay products. Such dishes are ecological, durable and unique. Nowhere else in the world will you find such authentic black smoked ceramics. I decided to buy myself a few things. I especially wanted a new cup of coffee.
В мене любов до глиняних виробів. Такий посуд є екологічним, міцним і унікальним. Більше ніде в світі ви не знайдете таку автентичну чорну димлену кераміку. Я вирішила придбати собі кілька речей. Особливо я хотіла нове на горнятко каву.
The name comes from legends. Although they are closely related to true historical facts.
Mrs. Havra, daughter of Yury Vyshnevetsky, sent the potters to the forest from the city. She was worried that there was a lot of black smoke when the pottery was fired and that this smoke from the kilns would smoke all the houses around in the city. At that time, there were many potter's families who passed down their craft from generation to generation. The village was named Havrozchizna after Mrs. Havra. Later, the people in the village changed their names in their own way and began to call their settlement in the forest Gavarechchyna.

In fact, to make a really good product, you need to study and practice for a long time. Everything matters, what kind of clay, the amount of water, even the wood used to burn the stove also matters.
Мені пощастило бути присутньою під час роботи майстра гончарної справи. За лічані хвилина в його вмілих руках натомість грудці глини утворився глиняний виріб. Дивлячись і спостерігаючи за роюотою майстра це здається дуже легко. Йому потрібно крутити гончарний круг і надавати глині певної форми. Насправді, щоб зробити дійсно хороший виріб потрібно довго вчитися і практикувалися. Все має значення, яка глина, кількість води, навіть дрова, якими палять піч теж має значення.
Why do you think the yellow clay gets such a coal black color during firing? The whole secret is that clay products are baked in a special oven for 12 hours at a temperature of 1000 degrees without access to oxygen. Thanks to this, each clay product becomes bright red from the intense heat in the middle of the kiln, and it easily absorbs black soot.
Як ви думаєте, чому жовта глина під час випалювання отримує отакий вугільний чорний колір? Весь секрет в тому, що запікають вироби з глини в спеціальній печі протягом 12 годин при температурі 1000 градусів без доступу кисню. Завдяки цьому кожен глиняний виріб стає яскраво червоним від сильного нагріву в середині печі, і він легко вбирає в себе чорну сажу.

На Вернісаж то інший виробник, фактично фабрика. На Гавареччині робить один майстер, потомок тих виселених з Білого Каменя гончарів , його роботи унікальні і вироблені з душею.
