As you know I live in Punta Arenas now, a tourist site full of beautiful and impressive structures, the weather is unpredictable and it is a matter of luck to have a sunny day, which for this opportunity was not the case, however you could enjoy the walk along the beach to reach the San Isidro Lighthouse, the last lighthouse of the American continent located in the extreme south, in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica region.
Como saben vivo en Punta Arenas ahora, un sitio turístico y lleno de hermosas estructuras impresionantes, los climas son impredecibles y es cuestión de suerte tener un día soleado, que para esta oportunidad no fue así, sin embargo se pudo disfrutar de la caminata por la playa para llegar al Faro de San isidro, el último faro del continente americano ubicado en el extremo sur, en la región Magallanes y de la antártica chilena.
With my friends we planned to visit this beautiful place, where the tour is about an hour and a half walking along the shores of the beach, enjoying the beautiful nature and breathing the sweet smell of the sea and the endemic forests of Patagonia, before reaching this place must go by car, about an hour and a half outside the city of Punta Arenas, and then leave the car and continue walking, enjoying each work of nature.
Con mis amigas planificamos visitar este lindo lugar, donde el recorrido es de aproximadamente una hora y media caminando a las orillas de la playa, disfrutando de la hermosa naturaleza y respirando el dulce olor del mar y los bosques endémicos de la Patagonia, antes de llegar a este lugar debe irse en auto, aproximadamente por una hora y media fuera de la ciudad de punta arenas, para luego dejar el auto y continuar caminando, disfrutando de cada obra de la naturaleza.
While walking we came across a boat, who approached us and invited us to take us near the lighthouse, so we enjoyed a boat ride for a few minutes until we reached our destination, from the lighthouse you can see the Strait of Magellan and lush vegetation. An unexpected but grateful trip.
Mientras caminábamos nos topamos con una lancha, quien se acerco a nosotras y nos invito a llevarnos cerca del faro, así que disfrutamos un viaje en lancha por unos minutos hasta llegar a nuestro destino, desde el faro se puede observar el estrecho de Magallanes y una exuberante vegetación. The San Isidro lighthouse has been guiding navigation in one of the most dangerous seas on the planet for more than 100 years, this lighthouse is a living part of the history of Magallanes and navigation in the southern waters, the panoramic view from the lighthouse is priceless, it was a gift to get this beautiful opportunity to observe nature and enjoy it.
El faro de San Isidro lleva mas de 100 años guiando la navegación en uno de los mares más peligrosos del planeta, este faro es una parte viviente de la historia de Magallanes y de la navegación en las aguas australes, la vista panorámica que se tiene desde el faro es impagable, fue totalmente un regalo obtener esta hermosa oportunidad de observar la naturaleza y disfrutar de ella.
Inside the lighthouse there is a museum, which is closed at the moment, but through a window you can see a little of what is inside, it was an extraordinary experience, enjoy all that the universe has to give us and breathe the fresh air. Undoubtedly a great place to visit and connect with nature.
Dentro del Faro hay un museo, el cuál se encuentra cerrado por los momentos, pero por una ventana se puede visualizar un poco de lo que hay dentro, fue una experiencia extraordinaria, disfrutar de todo lo que el universo tiene para darnos y respirar el aire fresco. Sin duda alguna un lugar estupendo que visitar y conectarte con la naturaleza.
