Fascinating. I had never thought of that detail of Picasso's personality. Now when I was reading it I realized this. I always stop to admire his work, but I never paid attention to his personal life.

Picasso is a fascinating character, the kind you admire but hate at the same time. His importance in the art of the world is undeniable and I was impressed by the chance to look closely at the original paintings. I met many artists from Romania, from music, theatre, and painting. The vast majority are as I said. Selfish to say the least.
Truly, being able to be close to those Picasso originals is a luxury that not everyone can afford.... I would have even stopped breathing for a few moments.
I felt the same way! Actually I'm not such a big Picasso fan, I like expressionist painters more, but that doesn't mean I can't be impressed by a personality who influenced art in the world.
