Me imaginé a mi mismo en otra época: donde el tiempo pasa más despacio pues no existe la necesidad de tener que estar siempre haciendo o planeando cosas, donde se veneran a dioses y divinidades con rituales, danzas y ofrendas y donde se vive de acuerdo a los ciclos del Universo y la Tierra. Un estilo de vida que, aunque pueda parecer simple y anticuado, estoy seguro que proporciona mayor claridad en la vida y, porque no, felicidad; pues nos facilita la comprensión de que la plenitud la proporcionan las cosas aparentemente más insignificantes. | Given my natural tendency not to organize, I went there without any planning. It so happened that the hostel where I was staying was near the Archaeological Museum, so I headed there. Once I entered I was immersed in another world. I imagined myself in another era: where time passes more slowly because there is no need to be always doing or planning things, where gods and divinities are worshiped with rituals, dances and offerings and where people live according to the cycles of the Universe and the Earth. A lifestyle that, although it may seem simple and old-fashioned, I am sure that it provides greater clarity in life and, why not, happiness; because it makes it easier for us to understand that fulfillment is provided by the most seemingly insignificant things. |

| Era tal la cantidad de artesanía y objetos de cerámica hechos con tanta perfección y esmero y tanta la belleza que observaban mis ojos, que no querían perderse detalle alguno, que estuve como en un estado de éxtasis hasta el punto que casi me encierran dentro del museo, pues perdí la completa noción del tiempo. Al final no pude ver ni las ruinas. | There was such a quantity of handicrafts and ceramic objects made with such perfection and care and so much beauty that my eyes observed, which did not want to miss any detail, that I was in a state of ecstasy to the point that I was almost locked inside the museum, because I lost the complete notion of time. At the end I could not even see the ruins. |

Para acabar, simplemente recomendarles que si tienen la oportunidad de visitar Atenas no la dejen escapar, merece la pena adentrarse en su rica cultura, historia y mitología.
