Hawaii a universe of dreams
About 15 years ago. An unexpected and magical trip. Why unexpected? Because it was something that was planned in a month. I started working in a company and all the staff had won that trip to Hawaii. I was in training, which lasted 3 months. By the time I finished it was a month away from that big trip. And I personally thought I would not travel with them, I didn't even have a visa. It turns out that when I was two months away from finishing the course, they told me that I had to get a visa for the trip. I could not believe it, they took care of the whole visa process. They took all of us to the interview, and I was approved.
I finished my course and went to Hawaii. Something incredible, when we arrived we were met at the airport by native people from there and they put flower necklaces on all of us, yes just like we see in the movie, it's a thrill, it seemed like I was dreaming. I needed a pinch to wake up.
We were taken to the Waikoloa Village Hotel, an incredible hotel, to get to the rooms we could do it in three ways, walking, by bus or a kind of train and in small boats that traveled through canals. The rooms were very far from the lobby. All the corridors had magnificent sculptures, I show some of them.
We enjoyed the hotel facilities, we did some competitions. The trip was really a lot of fun.
We went to visit the national park of volcanoes, this experience scared me, the smell of the place was something characteristic, but without a doubt it was incredible to be in that immense place, wonderful and incomparable.
We also toured the Akaka Falls State Park, this is the name given in Hawaiian to this phenomenon. This park has a waterfall of 130 meters high. It was cold and drizzling. But that was not an impediment to enjoy the walk.
There are giant Tiki sculptures on the roads, they are large statues, usually used to delimit sacred places. And these same sculptures are sold in miniature in souvenir stores.
The company's anniversary party was held at the hotel on the beach, all dressed in typical local clothes, to buy these clothes we went to a store called Hilo Hattie.
There are so many pictures, I would like to share them all. I think that what one enjoys in this life is what really stays in our hearts and thoughts.

Hawaii un universo de sueños
Hace 15 años aproximadamente. Un viaje inesperado, y mágico. Porque inesperado? Porque fue algo que se planificó en un mes. Comencé a trabajar en una empresa y todo el personal había ganado ese viaje a Hawaii. Yo estaba en entrenamiento, el cual duró 3 meses. Cuando lo terminé ya faltaba un mes para ese gran viaje. Y yo personalmente creí que no viajaría con ellos, ni siquiera visa tenía. Resulta que cuando faltaban dos meses terminar el curso me dijeron hay que tramitar la visa para el viaje. Yo no podía creerlo, ellos se hicieron cargo de todo el proceso para tramitar la visa. Nos llevaron a todos a la entrevista, y me la aprobaron.
Terminé mi curso y me fui a Hawaii. Algo increíble, cuando llegamos nos esperaron en el aeropuerto personas nativas de allí y nos colocaron a todos collares de flores, si tal cual como lo vemos en la película, es una emoción, parecía que estaba soñando. Necesitaba un pellizco para despertar.
Nos llevaron al hotel Waikoloa Village, un hotel increíble, para llegar a las habitaciones podíamos hacerlo de tres maneras, caminando, en bus y en unos barcos pequeños que transitaban por medio de canales. Eran muy distantes las habitaciones del lobby. Todos los pasillo tenían esculturas magnificas, muestro algunas de ellas.
Disfrutamos las instalaciones del hotel, hicimos unas competencias. El viaje realmente fue de pura diversión.
Fuimos a visitar el parque nacional de volcanes, esta experiencia me dio miedo, el olor del lugar era algo característico, pero sin duda alguna era increíble encontrarse en aquel lugar inmenso maravillo e inigualable.
También hicimos un recorrido por el parque estatal de las cataratas akaka, éste es el nombre que se le da en Hawaiano a éste fenómeno. Este parque tiene un salto de 130 metros de altura. Hacía frío y estaba lloviznando. Pero eso no fue impedimento para disfrutar el paseo.
Existen esculturas de Tiki gigantes en las vialidades, son estatuas de gran tamaño, por lo general las usan para delimitar lugares sagrados. Y estas mismas esculturas las venden en miniatura en las tiendas de souvenir.
La fiesta de aniversario de la empresa la hicimos en el hotel a la orilla de la playa, todos vestidos con ropa típica del lugar, para comprar esta vestimenta fuimos a una tienda llamada Hilo Hattie.
Son muchas fotos, me gustaría compartirlas todas. Pienso que lo que uno disfruta en esta vida es lo que realmente nos queda en el corazón y pensamiento.
