Cool bench at the beach side park.
About 1 and half hours drive north of Brisbane is Mudjimba Beach. I remember when there was not much here about 30 years ago just the lonely Surf Air Holiday Units and the Maroochydore Airport. Nowadays it is pretty much built out, houses and holiday accommodation everywhere.
Lucky development has been well done and it retains a relaxed peaceful atmosphere.
The beach even on an average day is always inviting. You can just make out Mudjimba Island on the horizon. Always swim between the red and yellow flags.
The lookout was not in use as the weekend volunteer life savers were set up on the beach.
The sand dunes seem to be holding up nicely with all the development and treat of erosion.

We were there for the parkrun, it was my 329th event which is a free timed run/walk held most Saturdays at many places all over the world. I have done them in 93 different locations now. I am in the fluro green singlet trying to sneak up to the front of the start line ready to start my watch.
After the run we had a stretch and a swim to freshen up before checking out another beach and market at Maroocla. The dune buggy way marked as a council vehicle, not the usual surf live saving patrol we are used to seeing.
The markets and beach were quiet, but the few coffee and food places that were open were packed out. I think people are spending less time out and about with all the covid issues.
I have been practicing a few different types of photos with the samsung s21 camera phone it does such a good job.

Wow a 96km coastal path. I never knew they had linked it all up. We are going to have to get some accommodation sometime soon and do some serious cycling. It covers the whole of the Sunshine Coast top to bottom! what a cool adventure that would be.
We got rained on a couple of times but the showers did not last long and we had a great day.

I have also bought a black shirt, and my plan is to write Hive like the one on the shirt you are wearing.
Yes, they are good. I recon I could do with a couple more and maybe even a hoodie for winter
