A must do when visiting Toowoomba is the Picnic Point parklands. It has great short and longer walk options. An easy 1.5 hour drive from Brisbane about 130km makes a great day trip.
The views from the top of the Great Dividing Range are just fantastic. 700m above sea level looking back towards Brisbane.
The Love Lock Rail
I have never seen anything like this pad lock before.
They had this pretty descend water fall but I am pretty sure it is all man made there were lots of hidden pipes and shallow stagging pools.
It did not look swimmable but still refreshing to look at on a hot day.
They must have had some big pumps around but I could not see or hear them.
Lots of shade and well groomed path around the tourist picnic area.
We had already done a decent amount of exercise early that morning so we just chose part of the Pardalote walk to Tobruk lookout.
The view to Table Top Mountain from Tobruk Lookout. You can walk all the way to Table Top mountain from Picnic Point, maybe on an other visit, not sure my legs were going be able handle what looked like a decent amount of elevation gain on this day.

You can actually pick up the best view with only a short walk from your car but we are eyeing off all those other white dotted lines on the strava map for future hikes.
