Now I want to spread my story to you..
Charity is the act of helping the poor, and those who have difficulty in life. Charity activities include: donating money, items, clothes, .. or relief actions aimed at poverty reduction, health care for the poor. Charity comes from the heart, from the love of humanity, no one can force us to do charity. Vietnam is an agricultural country located in Southeast Asia, it is a strong and resilient nation with 54 different ethnic groups. In the 4.0 technology era, Vietnam integrates with the world and is developing strongly in all areas of life such as: economy, society, education and military. You may be surprised with the strong development of Vietnam when you come to tourist cities such as: Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh, Hai Phong, Can Tho. It was a miraculous development because Vietnam had to go through so many wars of aggression. Besides the villas, the luxurious and splendid life of people living in the city, there are still many poor people living in the mountainous areas of Vietnam. Those are the ethnic minorities, until now they still live in extremely poor and difficult life. Food, clean water, toilet, electricity, internet are basic human needs. However, the people living in the mountainous Phieng Khom - Son La province of Vietnam have never known it.
Until now they still don't have "the above basic needs", they still have to get water from streams, live in houses built with earth, bamboo and leaves, they don't know what internet is. They don't know everything about life in the city, their food is only rice, corn, cassava, potatoes. Life here is really different from life outside the world, many children here do not go to school. The Vietnamese government has many policies to help the people here, but it seems that things have not changed. The policies to support the people here include: policies to support production workers, policies on vocational training, 100% support for health check-ups, tuition fees, the state always creates all favorable conditions for children in this areas this is to school.
Many charity groups have come here, but life here is still very poor. Because most of these ethnic minorities do not know how to speak the language of the " Kinh" ethnic group (Vietnamese), moreover they live in such arid land, frequent natural disasters that it is difficult to do business or trade. They lived completely separate from the outside world, we had to take dirt roads to get here, those roads had no cement, it was really dangerous to move.
In addition, their intellectual level is not high, most children get married too early, about 13-14 years old already have children. Because they live far from the city, they do not have access to medical services, hospitals or schools. With such a poor diet, the life expectancy of the people here is very low. Companies and businesses do not want to invest money in such places, all of the above reasons make them still poor.
Every year, schools in the city often have "charity" days, which are days when students donate books, notebooks, pens, money, and clothes, etc to poor children in mountainous areas.
Look at these pictures, the children here don't even have enough clothes to wear. I feel pain for them and these babies. No one wants to be born in such an area. Although the temperature was very cold, only about 6-7 degrees Celsius, but those babies still did not have slippers or any other body warmer. I remember my daughters, these babies are just the same age or younger than my daughter. My life is not rich, but at least I am luckier than a lot of people here. Whenever you feel that life is too bad, think about the lives that are harder than you. That's why we are here and do charity to bring clothes and daily necessities to the poor people here. The babies here were scared and confused when we visited but then they were happy and excited.
I can feel the happiness in their eyes. Doing good, doing charity makes my soul feel more relaxed. I wish life here would be more developed, all children here would go to school, would enjoy all the best things in life.
