Greetings friends
This is how I captured the oldest lighthouse in Sri Lanka. This is the renovation of the first lighthouse built in Sri Lanka. The original lighthouse was destroyed by fire. This is located in the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Galle is very popular place among foreigners. This lighthouse is also a beautiful place to visit.
The fort belongs to the European tradition and was built during the Portuguese and Dutch eras. The city inside and the architectural ruins are considered masterpieces.
Features of the Portuguese, Dutch and British eras in Sri Lanka can be seen in the Galle Fort. So if you visit Sri Lanka don't forget to arrive at this historic city.
