Oh Seville is beautiful, so much art in its architecture, history and people. An amazing trip every time one is in this city.

What to say about your detailed historical study. The continuous battle of power where religion is just another weapon, conquering the opponent's house has always been synonymous with victory. I wish these things had only left the beauty of the artistic mixture and not all the terrible things that were behind it.

It was my first visit to this part of Spain so I was looking forward to see its architecture, not that I'm an expert in any way :)
I find it fascinating to look up the history of a place and think of all those who walked the same streets centuries before you. Kinda puts things into perspective...

I understand what you mean, it is not necessary to be an expert to realize the interesting mix, there are so many peculiarities.
That's the amazing thing about Europe, that you can walk on the same roads from so long ago, it's a wonder.
