hello everyone, how are you? I hope you enjoy your weekend well. Last month, I was in Aceh for about 13 days. I visited many places. one of them is the Sabang Zero Point Monument. He said those who have set foot in this place will receive a certificate. But, I didn't take care of the certificate.
I want to explain about my trip to that city. The Sabang Zero Kilometer Point is seven zero kilometers from Indonesia and is a unique geographical marker for Indonesia. This symbol or monument has a role in uniting Indonesia from Aceh to Papua.
Currently, the monument has become a tourist attraction in Indonesia. many tourists are coming. It's not just tourists who come from Indonesia, many tourists come from abroad. I want to tell you a little history of this place. Sabang Island has always been known as an island that has beautiful natural views. The proof is that the beach I recently posted about has clear water.
Sabang Island marks the border of Indonesia in the westernmost part of Indonesia. In the past, Sabang Island was an unkempt area. But currently, the island is lovely and clean. Until now, there are monkeys in several forests on Sabang Island. Because Sabang was not well maintained, Sabang Island was finally renovated.
The Sabang Island Zero Kilometer Monument was repaired and has become a tourist center. The monument was repaired on September 9, 1997. The monument that is currently there was designed to be a building with beautiful architecture. There is something unique about this monument. This white building is 43.6 meters high. At the top of the circle, there is a structure like a drill bit.
At the top of the building, an eagle is holding the number zero. There is the rencong which is a typical Acehnese weapon and is part of the Acehnese people's struggle for Indonesian independence. The zero-kilometer monument is located in the Sabang tourist forest, namely Iboih Ujong Ba'u Village, Sabang. The following is my story about the places I visited. See you in the next story.
