Mis viajeros Cayo Sombrero se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Morrocoy, tiene una ubicación distante con respecto a los otros cayos, este se encuentra más cerca de Tucacas y más lejos del pueblo de Chichiriviche, ya que lo más recomendable si vas a este lugar es tomar una lancha en Tucacas, En mi ultimo viaje solo gaste 5$ en el traslado ida y vuelta desde Cayo Azul, bastante barato, Cayo Sombrero es el cayo mas comun, popular y preferido por todos los turistas, tiene una gran extension ya que tiene dos zonas donde te puedes bañar, una es la zona del muelle de las lanchas y la otra es la zona de mar abierto completamente.

Finalmente después de pasar las hermosas palmeras podemos encontrar el otro lado de la playa que tiene su cercanía con el mar abierto, esta zona es mucho más tranquila y solitaria ya que los turistas prefieren bañarse en el otro lado de la playa, cabe destacar que esta zona tiene muchas piedras de coral pero el agua es mucho más cristalina y hermosa, tiene contrastes de azul claro, azul y turquesa, junto con la vibrante arena amarilla.
