Good evening Hivers how are you? Here I am again to take you to my hometown, Pistoia. Sometimes even though a place that i visited quite often or have lived there there are places that escape us, I lived in this city for a few years, I worked there and I still go there every now and then for errands or to meet parents and friends and yet this magnificent corner had completely escaped me! I discovered it by chance thanks to my mother who came there for an installation by Buren (the strip you see on the ground) an artist who I personally find questionable. However his exhibition is at Palazzo dei Rossi the palace I photographed that overlooks this magnificent city terrace hidden right in the middle of the old alleys. The palace is named after an ancient noble family of the area the De Rossi and now belongs to a foundation of famous banks in the area, I have not visited the interior but it is said to be magnificently decorated with elegance, the palace overlooks the Grandonio terrace which takes its name from the statue that stands on one side of the terrace. At the back instead, in addition to the arches that overlook the old streets, there is a modern installation. It is truly a wonderful and elegant place and it is a real shame that I have discovered it only now, soon I want to visit the interior of the palace, now I leave you with the photos I took of the palace, terrace and surroundings.
