Good morning hivers how are you? Here I am with the second part of my trip to Rijeka the last stop of my trip to Croatia, today I will show you the magnificence of the Italian consulate and the main streets. After our first walk around the city that you will find in the link at the bottom of this post my husband and I continued our tour. We went into the city center, in the main streets from which we enjoyed the view of the dome of the civic tower, the main street of the city is called Korzo probably a name derived from the Italian "corso" it is a very modern street full of shops and restaurants, you could say that it is the street of shopping and nightlife. There are many magnificent buildings in vintage style home to hotels, casinos and the main radio of the city. A walk through these magnificent streets makes you always keep your eyes up to admire the magnificent historic buildings. From here we then went to the Italian consulate!
When we arrived at the consulate we were amazed by the beauty of the ancient building with two imposing statues at the entrance and then we entered and it was like being catapulted into another century, magnificent and elegant interiors, who knows how beautiful the interiors of other historic buildings are, the consulate was beautiful, enough to set a historical series. Once we had finished sorting out the document issue (they were quick and very kind) we continued the walk to see the civic tower up close, truly beautiful with beautiful high reliefs of medieval origin but restored several times, a symbol of the city. We then continued the walk through the main streets and stopped to enjoy a good coffee in a delightful pirate-themed bar in the place Nemo. Then unfortunately came the urge to return to Italy, so we left again but even with the car it was nice to see the streets of this great city, a little less so driving in the chaos but we saw so many magnificent buildings, unfortunately it is a city that deserves more days of visit and not just half a day but alas we had to return home and cross the beautiful Slovenia which I will tell you about soon!

WOW such a nice place, I would love to visit the bar to calm my head with one bottle of wine 😁🥰
Oh yes 💕💕
Que lugar más hermoso. Me recordó el banco de gringots
Gracias 😘
Even though we are from different countries, the beauty of this city is truly extraordinary. I like the architecture of these buildings. It is truly extraordinary. I hope you have a nice day, my friend.
Thanks 💘
Wow, there are many buildings with amazing architectural design. It is good to know that the government continues to restore these beautiful buildings. Even the interiors have great designs. I love the high chairs in the pirate-themed bar, they are wooden and they look antique. I don't see modern structures in this part of the city. Perhaps there are, but they design the modern ones to harmonize with the old buildings. I feel it's a good change from what we normally see in a city.
Yes everything was so beautiful I loved the old buildings 💞💞
Very interesting building my friend
