In recent days my husband and I have taken some short trips, one of these was to Montagnana, a lovely town in the hills, but we traveled in stages, something that we really like, in this case we stopped in Pieve and Giampierone, the towns passing through Montagnana, Pieve is so called for the small and ancient parish church that opens into the town, a small church now in disuse, it is a flat area very famous for long and pleasant walks in the greenery, here you can find many fields and meadows, ancient farmhouses and also various farmhouses where you can eat or stay. Here the villages are made up of a few very beautiful houses and farmhouses, it is also a place loved by runners because the streets are wide and beautiful, surrounded by fields and some olive groves. The large cypress trees are very typical of this area as of all of Tuscany. We enjoyed a nice, long walk on the main street and then set off towards Montagnana, a little higher up than the towns I'll talk about in the next post!

En los últimos días mi marido y yo hemos hecho algunos viajes cortos, uno de estos fue a Montagnana, un hermoso pueblo en las colinas, pero viajamos por etapas, algo que nos gusta mucho, en este caso paramos en Pieve y Giampierone, los pueblos de paso por Montagnana, Pieve se llama así por la pequeña y antigua iglesia parroquial que se abre al pueblo, una pequeña iglesia ahora en desuso, es una zona llana muy famosa por largos y agradables paseos en el verde, aquí puedes encontrar muchos campos y prados, antiguos cortijos y también diversos cortijos donde comer o alojarse. Aquí los pueblos se componen de unas cuantas casas y cortijos muy bonitos, también es un lugar querido por los corredores porque las calles son amplias y bonitas, rodeadas de campos y algunos olivares. Los grandes cipreses son muy típicos de esta zona como de toda la Toscana. Disfrutamos de un largo y agradable paseo por la calle principal y luego nos dirigimos hacia Montagnana, ¡un poco más arriba que los pueblos de los que hablaré en el próximo post!
