Wow amazing pictures, I like the remains of the pier too!
They say fires are good for a forest and that it regrows quickly but I guess not that quickly if the damage is still visible after a year.

Unfortunately this fire burned the historic town of Lahaina. It'll be a long time coming before any major rebuild starts to happen I'm afraid.
