The journey is quite long and very tiring this time, I will go to an event which is outside the city where I live. The long journey took around 7 hours, so we had to stay there for two nights. The main goal for me and my family was to attend the wedding of a close family member. However, because it was a long distance and they were holding an event at home, we decided that when we got there we had to stay at a hotel. So here I will tell you about my journey to the city of Banda Aceh and where I rested while there and even recommended the best hotel when I was there for 2 days and 2 nights.
The journey was quite long and tiring for 7 hours there, we left at 3 in the afternoon. During the trip, I slept in the car and also filled the long journey by joking around with my nephew. Apart from that, we also stopped at several places.
However, interestingly, we stopped at a gas station, we stopped together for a few hours on the road and the night was starting to get dark. There is something interesting here, namely we want to see the biggest fish in the pond. This gas station has quite a large area in the pool area, in fact the pool is directly connected to the toilet so many visitors stop here, because the place is very comfortable to relax and take a short break.

After looking at the fish and snacks here, we continued our journey to the city of Banda Aceh. A few hours later my family and I arrived at the hotel we were going to. Yes, we are looking for a hotel that is close to the area where we live, namely the Lampulo area, we think this is the fastest access location.
Exactly at 23.00 we arrived at the hotel, we decided to stay at the Hotel Portalio Arabia which is located in the city of Banda Aceh Penayong.
My older Brother immediately booked the 2 cheapest rooms here, namely IDR 350,000 per room for one night. While waiting for my older brother to book a two bedroom, my nephew and I checked out the lobby area of this hotel.

As usual, my nephew immediately enthusiastically asked me to take their photo. They woke up when they got here, and will definitely continue sleeping soon.
Our room was on the 2nd floor, precisely at number 207 while my older sister was at number 205 so it was very close. This will make it easier for the children to see their mother.

Arriving at the room I immediately looked around the contents of the hotel room. There are 2 beds complete with clothes storage, and of course with bathroom facilities that are fully AC and television, and also special of unlimited free internet..
I think this is very comfortable to occupy as a place to rest. Even though the rooms are the cheapest, the service at this hotel is very good. I was very pleased when the hotel maids brought all our very large items to the room, they politely offered to do this. Because the night was getting late I rushed to clean myself in the bathroom. The bathroom is not very spacious, but everything functions well, and it is even very comfortable to take a long shower here.
The next morning, I woke up very early, took a shower and rushed to make coffee in my room. The hotel maid had prepared several sachets of coffee and tea. I brewed it and enjoyed the warmth of the morning coffee.

After finishing relaxing enjoying coffee while watching, I rushed to change into my party uniform that I had prepared from home yesterday. Don't be surprised, if my nephew always appears everywhere when I take some pictures. He also really likes taking photos, especially when I tell him to take photos he will be very happy.
After changing all my clothes and putting on a little make-up, I rushed downstairs to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant that morning.
The Portola Arabia hotel restaurant is called Zahra Restaurant. Well, this restaurant itself does not have a very large space, but it is comfortable enough to just enjoy breakfast with a variety of foods provided by hotel services.

I served my nephew first to take some food. I took croffel with strawberry jam, as well as several other types of food. After that I took fried rice, with a mixture of mke, as well as sausages and tuna cooked in curry.

There are lots of food variants here from porridge, bread, salad to rice. I chose breakfast with rice because I like fried rice. In my opinion, even though this restaurant is relatively small for a hotel this large. However, the types of food they provide are very varied and complete. Even the food is not bad at all.
After enjoying breakfast, I took the time to walk around the hotel and take some pictures from the top of the second floor where my room was staying. And also took some photos from the front of the hotel. It's quite spacious, and from the lower area I saw there was a rooftop above, there I thought there was a cafe. Because last night I heard very loud music in the upper area. But unfortunately I didn't make time to go there, because I was very tired that night.

My family and I continued our journey to my brother's party, but when we got there the event had not yet started. My nephew and I took several pictures on the podium.
Just look at how my nephew is stylish up there. Interestingly he also took very good pictures of me. Ahhh, he's so adorable, even though he's small, he turns out to be very good at taking pictures.
There is something interesting on the way back home, on the way to the Selawah mountain area, you will be warmly welcomed by a group of monkeys. They wait for someone to come to give them food. Very enthusiastic when they received the food, a group of monkeys gathered in front of our car. This makes all my nieces very happy.

So for those of you who want to visit Banda Aceh, stop by this hotel, it's very cheap and comfortable for sure. The service and cleanliness of the hotel is very well maintained. I am very satisfied here, the rest is very comfortable so attending family events runs smoothly.
