Morlaix, France. Very beautiful, atmospheric gothic city 💗

Hello to all travel lovers! 🌍

My journey through France continues. And although everything is happening very unpredictably and strangely, but if fate has given me the opportunity to get to know France in this way - I accept this challenge.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to visit a city like Morlaix, France.

Morlaix is a Gothic and Renaissance architecture, temples, manufactory of the 18th century. It is an ancient port city located in the north-west of France, in Brittany. For a long time he was the object of the struggle between France and England. Under Morlaix, one of the most important battles of the Hundred Years War took place. translation from the source

How did I get into this city?

I'll tell you. My French friends (Ukrainians who have lived here for a long time) have a yacht in Morlaix. More precisely, it is not their own yacht, but they were given it to use. And one day we decide that tomorrow we go to Morlaix. And I, as they say, for any activity. Of course, I agreed. I want to say that I drove with my children separately, and my friends drove with other cars, because we had a large company. It's still unusual for me to ride a navigator in unknown places, I'm a little scared. But we got there normally.

We parked near the port and immediately went to look at the yacht. We had no plans to sail, so we just went on a yacht and went for a walk around the city. At the berth, the Ukrainian flag on two yachts immediately attracted attention, and these were yachts not of my friends, but of unknown owners. Very nice.

Did everyone see the Ukrainian flag?

As we moved away from the pier, we immediately headed for the main decoration of Morlaix: the majestic viaduct. This viaduct sets the whole atmosphere of the city, it is very beautiful. Trains run on the viaduct, and below you can walk and see the city. We went there - to the viaduct.

When we climbed the viaduct, the first thing that caught our attention was the Ukrainian flag again! And so beautiful, on the city hall building.

We did not stay on the viaduct for a long time because it was quite windy. We went down to the square to the city hall. The central street of Morlaix consists of a parking area in the center, roads, houses with various shops along these roads and connects all this city hall.

The main decoration of the center is also the church. It is called Église Saint-Mélaine.

You know, Morlaix was probably a childhood dream of mine. Because this city corresponds to my ideas about the place you want to visit, which impresses you, but does not shock. Everything is as it should be, very calm, but life is in full swing. I am very pleased with this trip, and even more interesting that I will be back again soon.

I wish everyone good travels and only pleasant impressions! 💗

That's not a common thing to get a yacht to use just like that, lol, but I'm sure it made it a great journey out there! Love it!

Yes, I was also surprised about the yacht. Thank you. 🙃

Nice place indeed. It seems calm and cozy.
Cheers!

Приємно бачити Українські прапори по усім куточкам світу. Гарна розповідь.
