Sometimes I feel like I'm in paradise, having found myself in a new beautiful place... Forgetting here that I live on Earth, where wars are ongoing, there is cruelty, disease, death... Here, among the perfection of nature, I always feel the presence of a loving Creator, who once promised to stop suffering and wipe away all tears...

So, today I invite you to take a walk with me in a cozy paradise of Turkish nature on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea - Korsan Köyü, hidden in a pine forest 60 km from Kemer.

Of course, the reason we went there is my crazy desire to travel. Now that I am constantly behind the wheel of my own car, I am happy to have the opportunity to explore new places, of which there are many around Kemer. Having found this mysterious bay on Google Maps, which attracted us with its high rocky shores and turquoise deep waters, we went there with a premonition of the joy of life!

Having reached the right point on the road, we turned down the steep serpentines to the sea. Even from the car window we were already enjoying the beautiful views of the blue lagoon against the backdrop of high, mysterious mountains. We parked the car on the side of the road and got out to take some photos from above!

The weather was very warm on this winter day, and the air was fresh and spring-like, filled with the scent of pine trees and forest flowers.
We left our car in the forest, and then we had to walk. Cyclomenes were blooming all around - these amazingly beautiful purple flowers of the healing cyclomene, the juice of the bulb of which saved me from chronic sinusitis 15 years ago. This is a miracle of the pine forests of Turkey!

Finally, we saw a bay of incredible beauty, which looked like a pirate's harbor between two high cliffs. And there were bright boats here, which added an exotic impression to this picture. The orange rocks with pine trees growing on them were a beautiful views against the blue sky and white clouds...

Above the sea on a rock stood a single wooden table with benches, where it would be nice to have a picnic, and fishermen could be seen in the distance.
In the distance, beautiful mountains could be seen, and above them was a heavy gray sky that seemed to shimmer with different colors in the rays of the setting sun...
We really enjoyed this amazing winter day that felt a bit like summer. If we had arrived earlier, I would have definitely swam, but the sun had already set behind the mountains and the rocks had cooled down.

However, it was a great time to take beautiful photos, the sun's rays beautifully illuminated the rocks and you can see their amazing structure. A cave was visible in the rock. If you fantasize: it would be a great hideout for pirates, and you can imagine a secret dwelling in the rock, like in the famous pirate movies :)

Having enjoyed the beautiful views to our heart's content, we walked to the right along the path that was covered with pine needles... Further, no less beautiful views of the distant mountains opened up.

I sat on the edge of a cliff and enjoyed the view of the sea, when suddenly a small, beautiful bird appeared from somewhere, hopping nearby and giving Me joy with its life and chirping...

We met a lonely woman from Russia in the forest who was brave enough to settle in a tent and live alone among this wild beauty. In search of inner harmony, people turn to the power of nature...

Returning back to the car, We walked along the ruins of some old city...
I googled and this is what I found:

Ancient City of Melanippe
The place called Pirate Bay is the port of the ancient city of Melanippe. It is a protected natural harbor, sandwiched between two rocky peaks and no more than 25 meters wide. Geographer Hecataeus of Miletus in 500 BC According to what was written in the year 500, Melanippe was a Greek colony in the region of Pamphylia, on the border of Lycia. It is a small coastal settlement in the area of sovereignty of the Hagai since the Hellenistic period. The importance of the city is explained by the fact that it is a protected natural harbor, which also serves other settlements in its vicinity. It is known that the Greek name of the city is black horse. In the naval book prepared by Piri Reis in 1521, the name Karaoz (Karaozi) was used for the port of Pirate Bay

I stopped and looked back to enjoy the paradise bay once more. I hope I was able to convey its unique beauty in my photos and story!
