The magical harmony of the aquatic inhabitants of the Oceanarium in Budapest... #TheLongestTrip // From the beginning #2

I'm going back to the beginning of our #TheLongestTrip, that to talk about all the exciting places I visited during the past year.
In March 2022, we visited the Tropicarium-Oceanarium in Budapest. It was of my @darine.darine's dream. And so we came to the entrance, where we were greeted by a cheerful giant shark :)

As we stepped inside, we were immediately struck by the breathtaking display of marine life before us. A huge number of bright multi-colored large and small fish were presented here, swimming in beautiful aquariums filled with corals, shells, stones, roots, algae...
Even car tires served as decor )

As we stood there, gazing through the glass of the aquarium in Budapest, we were mesmerized by the underwater world that unfolded before our eyes. The clear water shimmered as schools of fish darted and swam past us, each species unique in its size, shape, and color.

I especially liked the aquarium filled with brightly colored fish. We could see their tiny fins flapping as they swam around coral formations that looked like they had been plucked straight from the ocean floor.
As we continued to explore the aquarium, we saw a variety of sea creatures that we had never even heard of before. There were creatures with tentacles that glowed in the dark, and small, round pufferfish that inflated themselves like balloons as we watched. We saw crabs scuttling across the sand, and eels hiding in the crevices of the rocks.

The Tropicarium-Oceanarium also had an interactive area where visitors could learn about a variety of marine life, including starfish and sea urchins. My kids especially enjoyed this section because they were able to get to know the animals they were learning about.

Then we went to the reptile section, where we saw different types of lizards. There was even a room dedicated to snakes, featuring some of the most venomous species in the world. However, we passed them very quickly, because I do not like to look at reptiles.

One of the most impressive exhibits was the shark tunnel. As we walked through the tunnel, dozens of sharks surrounded us. It was an incredible sight to see these powerful predators up close, but separated from us by thick glass.

What struck us the most was the peaceful coexistence of all the different species of fish. The colorful tropical fish danced amongst the swaying seaweed, while the larger predators seemed content to observe them from a distance. We watched in amazement as a small school of silver fish scattered as a shark lazily swam by, yet it was clear that the shark had no interest in the smaller fish as it continued on its way.
As we made our way through the aquarium, we felt as though we had been transported to another world. The peaceful coexistence of all these different species of fish was a powerful reminder of the importance of harmony in nature. We were reminded that, even in a world where survival of the fittest is the norm, there can be moments of tranquility and coexistence that are truly beautiful to witness.

Massive stingrays, which glided gracefully along the water with sharks, also made a great impression. Their flat, diamond-shaped bodies seemed to cut through the water with ease, and their long tails trailed behind them like thin ribbons.
I watched with amazement through the glass as the stingrays approached me. Their faces are so funny. It looks like they are smiling :) I could feel their energy and strength as they swam past me.
Looking at these wonderful creatures, I wondered about their life in the wild...
An interesting fact about stingrays is their ability to regenerate. If a stingray loses its tail, it can regenerate it within a few months. This is a very useful ability as stingrays have many enemies in the sea such as sharks and whales.
But here they peacefully coexisted with sharks and other fish.

The Budapest Oceanarium is home to a variety of aquatic species, including the crocodile. The area where the crocodile lives is designed to mimic its natural habitat, creating a realistic and attractive environment for the animal. The crocodile enclosure is spacious and designed to resemble a river bank in the wild with vegetation, rocks and a water source.
The area is carefully monitored by trained professionals to ensure the health and safety of the crocodile, as well as the safety of visitors.

The Budapest Oceanarium offers visitors a unique experience of exploring an artificial jungle, where exotic birds can be seen flying around and perching on tree branches and vines. The jungle area is created to imitate the natural habitat of these birds.

Overall, our visit to the Tropicarium-Oceanarium was an unforgettable experience. The variety of animals we saw was astounding, and we left with a newfound appreciation for the beauty and diversity of marine life. We would highly recommend a visit to anyone traveling to Budapest.

I'm scared just looking at some of these pictures and how dare you make this pictures hahaa! but to be honest, both these pictures and the place are very nice especially these little colorful fish. And yes, you are looking very charming in last picture.

It was really exciting to walk in this tunnel where sharks were swimming nearby! The last photo is a state of happiness that makes us beautiful.

The entrance is so much more beautiful than we can see and it is said that first impression is good and important to attract the people's. It's a perfect place to hang out and refresh your mind the way we can see the biggest little fishes inside and one is very happy to see such things. If I get a chance in my life, I will definitely visit this place once because it looks very good. Seeing a crocodile, a person gets scared. The simulated forest that has been created is also looking very beautiful and the birds are having a lot of fun here. I really enjoy your trip. Thanks for sharing.

I returned to the beginning of our trip, when we had just arrived in the first country Hungary. It was an incredibly exciting experience - to visit as if at the bottom of the ocean!

Loving the selfie, 2nd snap in @olga.maslievich 😂😂😜

But, it's not me :) Although I agree - she looks beautiful )))

It was a really cool sight! But I heard from people that there is an even cooler oceanarium in Antalya! Is this true?
