Hello Hive community, today I will be sharing with you my 5th post. Yesterday I went out to clear my mind complying with the security measures due to the pandemic, I met my friend Merlyn and we went for a walk to Ciudad Vieja, which is a historic neighborhood of Montevideo, near the port and the boulevard that is a road that it borders the entire coast of the city.
Hola comunidad Hive, hoy estaré compartiendo con ustedes mi 5to post. Ayer salí a despejar la mente cumpliendo con la medidas seguridad por lo de la pandemia, me encontré con mi amiga Merlyn y fuimos a pasear a Ciudad Vieja que es un barrio histórico de Montevideo, cerca queda el puerto y la rambla que es una camineria que bordea toda la costa de la ciudad.

It was a different afternoon since I had time without feeling the sea breeze that joins the Rio de la Plata, we walked towards a small lighthouse near the port while we saw people sitting along the entire boulevard fishing and sharing as a family , I had never been in a place like that with so many people sitting, relaxing watching the sea while fishing and drinking mate (the typical drink of Uruguay). They were very kind, they allowed us to see the whole process as they put the tallow on the cane. to fish and share the excitement of when they take out the weights, some little ones told me that her name is Perla.
Fue un tarde diferente ya que tenia tiempo sin sentir la brisa del mar que se une con el rio de la plata, caminamos hacia un pequeño faro cerca el puerto mientras veíamos a las gente sentada a lo lardo de toda la rambla pescando y compartiendo en familia, nunca había estado en un lugar como ese con tantas personas sentadas, relajadas viendo el mar mientras pescan y beben mate (la bebida típica de Uruguay).Fueron muy amables, nos permitieron ver todo el proceso como le colocan el sebo a la caña de pescar y compartir la emoción de cuando sacan los peses, unos pequeñitos me dijeron que se llama Perla.
I continued walking taking photos to share them with you and that you also enjoy my walk of the day, I took photos of the fishermen and the breakwater of the lighthouse, the size of the rocks is impressive, a few meters from there we found a skate park where there were children of all ages enjoying the afternoon, then we went down a staircase that led us to the rocks on the seashore where we met some very friendly fishermen, they shared with us how is their experience fishing and even allowed me to use one of their fishing rods which was new to me, I loved it! It is an activity that allows you to meditate and cultivate patience and that fills with great emotion when something bites on the line.

Seguí caminando tomando fotos para compartirlas con ustedes y que disfrutaran también de mi paseo del día, tome fotos de los pescadores y del rompeolas del faro, el tamaño de las rocas es impresionante, a pocos metros de ahí encontramos un parque de skate donde habían niños de todas la edades disfrutando de la tarde, luego bajamos por una escaleras que nos llevaron hasta las rocas de la orilla del mar donde nos encontramos con unos pescadores muy amables, ellos compartieron con nosotras como es su experiencia pescando e incluso me permitieron usar una de sus cañas de pesca lo cual fue nuevo para mi, ¡me encanto! es una actividad que te permite meditar y cultivar la paciencia y que llena de gran emoción cuando algo pica en el sedal.
As we were near the port, we could see how the cranes remove the containers from the ship and just at that moment a ship was leaving at sunset, the road is a vital meeting point in the life of the city, there people meet They gather to share with family and friends regardless of age and it is also the ideal place to go out with pets and exercise, I found a man who had a stall of sweets and garrapiñada hot caramelised peanuts, it is something very typical of Uruguay and which is very good for this climate.
Como estábamos cerca del puerto pudimos ver como las grúas sacan los contenedores de los barco y justo en ese momento iba saliendo un barco en plena puesta del sol, la camineria es un punto de encuentro vital en la vida de la ciudad, allí las personas se reúnen a compartir con familia y amigos sin importar la edad y
también es el lugar ideal para salir con las mascotas y hacer ejercicio, encontré un señor que tenia un puesto de golosinas y garrapiñada que es maní caramelizado caliente, es algo muy típico de Uruguay y que queda muy bien para este clima.
When I was returning near the bus stop, there was a park where I became a girl again, I got on the swing and other games with my friend Merlyn. Yesterday afternoon was very fun and relaxing, full of new landscapes and impressive views of the city, I loved sharing with interesting people and as always adding new experiences to my log.
Ya cuando regresaba cerca de la parada de autobuses, había un parque donde volví a ser niña de nuevo, me subí al columpio y demás juegos con mi amiga Merlyn. La tarde de ayer fue muy divertida y relajante llena de paisajes nuevos y vistas impresionantes de la cuidad, me encanto compartir con personas interesantes y como siempre añadir nuevas experiencias a mi bitacora.
