Especially Russian tourists prefer this city in the summer months.In my previous post, I shared with you about my trip to Çanakkale. This time I want to take you to a beautiful holiday city. The name of the second city I visited in March is #Antalya. Antalya is one of the most tourist cities in Turkey.
According to the statement made by the Antalya Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the number of visitors to Antalya in the 9-month period between January-September 2022 was 11 million 27 thousand. Russians make up the vast majority of this figure.
This is a great number.

Bir önceki yazımda size Çanakkale gezimden bahsetmiştim. Bu kez sizi güzel bir tatil şehrine götürmek istiyorum. Mart ayında gittiğim ikinci şehrin adı: Antalya. Antalya Türkiye'nin en türistik şehirlerini başında geliyor. Bu şehri yaz aylarında özellikle Rus turistler tercih ediyor.
Antalya İl Kültür ve Turizm Müdürlüğü tarafından yapılan açıklamaya göre, Ocak-eylül 2022 arasındaki 9 aylık dönemde Antalya’ya gelen ziyaretçi sayısı 11 milyon 27 bin olarak gerçekleşti. Bu rakamın büyük çoğunluğunu Ruslar oluşturuyor.

I and 4 colleagues went to Antalya for a business trip. We participated in an exhibition organized in Antalya as a company. We had a very enjoyable 5 days. We were fasting during the day because it coincided with Ramadan. After the iftar at the hotel where we stayed, we went out to explore Antalya in the remaining time. Sometimes we left the fairground early and visited Antalya before iftar.
In this post, I will tell you about our journey, the fair, and the hotel. I plan to share details about the fair and the places we visited in another post.
Ben ve 4 iş arkadaşım Antalya'ya iş geizisi için gittik. Antalya'da düzenlenen bir fuara biz de firma olarak katıldık. Çok keyifli 5 gün geçirdik. Ramazan ayına denk geldiği için gün içinde oruçluyduk. İfarımız kaldığımız otelde yaptıktan sonra kalan vakitlerde Antalya'yı keşfetmeye çıktık. Bazen fuar alanından erken ayrılıp iftardan önce Antalya'yı gezdik.

After Iftar in Istanbul, we set off by car. In the car you see below, 5 of us traveled for about 10 hours :) Yes, it was tiring but enjoyable. We sent the products we will exhibit at the fair by cargo.
İftarı İstanbul'da açtıktan sonra araba ile yola çıktık. Aşağıda gördüğünüz arabada 5 kişi yaklaşık 10 saat boyunca yolculuk yaptık :) Evet yorucuydu ama keyifli geçti. Fuarda sergileyeceğimiz ürünleri ise kargoyla yolladık.
As you can see in the photo below, we are in a good mood because we are only in the first hour of our trip. We took our first break to refuel the vehicle and we all had a cold coffee to boost our energy :)

Our trip started at 10 pm. We arrived in Antalya at 7 a.m. We first went to the bus station and bought our products, then we went to the fairground. After placing the products in the stand area, we went to the hotel to rest.
Yolculuğumuz akşam 10'da başladı. Sabaha karşı 7'de Antalya'ya vardık. İlk önce otogara gidip ürünlerimiz aldık, oradan fuar alanına gittik. Ürünleri stant alanına yerleştirdikten sonra dinlenmek için otele gittik.

This is our hotel. It was a nice hotel in the city center. We preferred this hotel because it is mostly preferred for business trips.
Bu otelimiz. Şehir merkezinde güzel bir oteldi. Daha çok iş gezileri için tercih edilen bir otel olduğu için biz de burayı tercih ettik.
The best moments of our Antalya trip were the desserts we ate after the iftar. The white dessert you see is called: Güllaç. You can watch the recipe for Güllaç dessert here.

This is an image from our first iftar at the hotel. We were so tired during the day that we were looking forward to dinner.

And below is a photo from the fair, which was the main purpose of our trip to Antalya. We are a clothing brand. Our brand name is #Warsey. We produce and sell both sportswear and daily wear.
Ve Antalya'ya gitmemizin asıl amacı olan fuardan bir fotoğraf var aşağıda. Biz bir giyim markasıyız. Markamızın adı: Warsey. Hem spor giyim hem de günlük giyim üretim ve satışı yapıyoruz.
The first day in Antalya was spent placing our products on the stands. We were tired but we had a pleasant day.
Antalya'daki ilk gün ürünlerimizi stantlara yerleştirmekle geçti. Yorgunduk ancak keyifli bir gün geçirdik.

Everyone living in the #Mediterranean region recognizes these palm trees. I guess I don't need to mention that Antalya is a Mediterranean city. It is possible to see these trees all over the city.
Bu Palmiye ağaçlarını Akdeniz bölgesinde yaşayan herkes tanır. Antalya'nın bir akdeniz şehri olduğunu belirtmeme gerek yok sanırım. Şehrin her tarafında bu ağaçlardan görmek mümkün.
This is our last iftar in the hotel. Will I miss it? I don't think so because I missed my mom's cooking :)

And our return trip began. After spending 5 days in Antalya, the same team was ready to return. There were resting facilities on the way. We stopped our journey to rest in a facility in the city of Afyon. The facility was selling beautiful accessories for the home. After praying, I went through all the products one by one and bought a few for my mother.
Ve dönüş yolculuğumuz başladı. Antalya'da 5 gün geçirdikten sonra aynı ekip dönmek için hazırdık. Yol üzerinde dinlenme tesisleri vardı. Afyon şehrinde bir tesiste dinlenmek için yolculuğumuza ara verdik. Tesiste ev için çok güzel aksesuarlar satılıyordu. Namaz kıldıktan sonra tüm ürünleri teker teker inceledim. Annem için birkaç tanesini satın aldım.
We stopped in Eskisehir City to have our Iftar. We discovered a small cafe in a sweet town in the city to have a meal. The owners of the cafe shared their food with us. It was a very nice memory for us.
İftarımızı yapmak için Eskişehir şehrinde mola verdik. Şehrin tatlı bir kasabasında yemek yemek için küçük bir kafe keşfettik. Kafe sahipleri yemeklerini bizimle paylaştılar. Çok güzel bir anı oldu bizim için.
We arrived in Istanbul, which is famous for its traffic, at midnight. We came all this way without any traffic, but the last two hours were spent in Istanbul traffic.
