While I was preparing to take a walk in the beautiful forest of Monsanto, I passed by this beautiful palace that immediately caught my attention and that I had never visited! It is about the Fronteira Palace, a beautiful very old country house located in the central area of Lisbon and that you have access to for only 5 euros! Mientras me disponia a realizar una caminata en el hermoso bosque de Monsanto pase por este lindo palacio que inmediatamente capto mi atencion y que nunca habia visitado! se trata del Palacio Fronteira, una hermosa quinta muy antigua ubicada en el casco central de Lisboa y que tienes acceso por tan solo 5 euros! que te parece si me acompañas en esta pequeña aventura.🌄🚩🌊

If you come to visit Lisbon and you don't know what tourist places to visit, then I can recommend you to visit the palace since it is located in the center of the city, it has easy access, despite not being very cheap because additional to five euros if you want to enter inside the "house" it must be with a guided tour because the owners live in the residence so you end up paying 10 euros or more! Parking is not easy either, but the effort is worth it! It was created with a house-museum purpose to see the architectural evolution and culture of Portugal since almost the medieval era.🚩🧭🌏
Si vienes de visita a Lisboa y no sabes que lugares turisticos visitar entonces puedo recomendarte visitar el palacio ya que se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad, tiene un facil acceso, apesar de no ser muy barato porque adicional a los cinco euros si quieres entrar dentro de la "casa" debe ser con una visita guiada porque los propietarios habitan en la residencia asi que acabas por pagar 10 euros o mas! el estacionamiento no es facil tampoco pero el esfuerzo vale la pena! fue creada con un proposito casa-museo para ver la evolucion arquitectonica y cultura de Portugal desde casi la era medieval.🌳🏡🏡

The house was built in 1671 and 1672 as a hunting ground for the duke: "João Mascarenhas" who was a "Portuguese military nobleman". Its predominant architecture is baroque and that we can see in its gardens with many fountains that decorate a mystical and wild environment.🧠🌍
La casa fue construida en el año 1671 y 1672 como espacio de caza para el duque: "João Mascarenhas" quien fue un "noble militar Portugues". Su arquitectura predominante es el barroco y que podemos ver en sus jardines con muchas fuentes que decoran un ambiente mistico y salvaje.📚🌍
The palace was built around the green lung of "Monsanto", giving it that aspect of a retirement home, it can be seen from a few kilometers away, the decoration on its walls are tiles that symbolize different Portuguese battles and mythological decorations! I mentioned it before, the garden is being occupied by its owners but they have left the library and gardens at the mercy of an open visit!🧭🌏🚩
El palacio fue construido a los alrededores el pulmon vegetal de "Monsanto", dandole ese aspecto de casa de retiro, puede ser vista desde algunos kilometros, la decoracion en sus paredes son azulejos que simbolizan diferentes batallas portuguesas y decoraciones mitologicas! lo mencionaba anteriormente el jardin esta siendo ocupado por sus propietarios pero han dejado a la merced la biblioteca y los jardines para una visita abierta!🌍🌼🌷
Due to the great historical and cultural contribution of the palace, it was declared a national monument in 1982, we can see inside the palace if we do the guided tour, paintings of the Mascarenhas whose characters fought some important battles in Portugal, the "palace dining room" has some Dutch style tiles and images and paintings of Portuguese royalty! In the garden we can see several "busts" of the main kings of Portugal.🧭🌷🌼
Debido al gran aporte historico y cultural del palacio, fue decretado monumento nacional en el año 1982, podemos ver dentro del palacio si hacemos la visita guiada pinturas de los Mascarenhas cuyos personajes libraron algunas batallas importantes en Portugal, el "comedor del palacio" tiene algunos azulejos de estilo holandes e imagenes y pinturas de la realeza portuguesa! en el jardin podemos ver varias "bustos" de los principales reyes de portugal.💂♂️💂♀️👸🤴

First I would like to recommend you to visit in the spring months, I think it is the best time to visit the palace, you are neither too cold nor too hot! My other advice is to create a route that allows you to visit the Monsanto Palace and Park so you can take advantage of visiting two beautiful tourist sites in Lisbon and of course, if you have time, also the main aquaduct!🏡🌏
Primero me gustaria recomendarte realizar una visita en los meses de primavera, creo que es el mejor momento para dar una visita al palacio no tienes ni tanto frio ni tanto calor! mi otro consejo es crea una ruta que te permita visitar el palacio y el parque monsanto asi aprovechas visitar dos hermosos sitios turisticos de lisboa y claro si tienes tiempo tambien el acuaducto principal!👸🤴
