RE: Salem monastery and palace

in Worldmappinlast year

Wow, this was a journey. It felt like a rollercoaster ride at a lot of points. The outside looks simple and ordinary, and then boom, the inside has a lot of intricate designs and beautiful furniture. We got another ordinary looking building, and then bam, gorgeous walls, buildings, and paintings from top to bottom. Just another smallish simple looking storage area, nope, wonderful and colorful fire trucks abound. A normal looking U shaped building, not a chance, it has ceilings that look like paintings in elaborate frame combined.

Well at least there's the palace. This one I was expecting to be elaborately designed, and it did not disappoint. I really like the effects they did that goes from wall to ceiling, and the especially the door art they like to do.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! In the meantime I grew very fond of your words 🙂

I'm sorry it took me so long, but it's been a crazy week full of canning cucumbers from our garden and other chores related to summer of a gardener 🙂

Have a lovely weekend!

I usually just write in the comments what I felt while reading your post. The contrast between the inside and the outside was really intense.

That's pretty cool that you grow your cucumbers and even can them. We mostly have a few fruit bearing trees that are low maintenance.

Have a lovely weekend as well.
