Namaste 🙏

Hope you all are doing great!!!

Another beautiful day out here in Gurugram and tomorrow is my day off on occasion of Maha Shivaratri. I have been really busy these days with my work and I couldn’t go out often. My routine mostly consists of just going to the office and coming back home and sometimes working from home in extra hours. My days are a bit hectic but however, they are. I’m still enjoying every bit of it. I have not been writing very much in past week or so, but in spite of that, I’ve been doing my evening. Walk daily on the usual route of my office to my home here in Gurugram and today’s blog is also one of my evening walk blog and I will try to show you guys the place where I stay and also the place and the area around the place where I work.

I got out of my office a bit earlier today, then the usual time of 6 PM. I guess it must have been around 5:30 PM today. The time when I got out of my office building. The office that I am talking about is my client office, where I have to go every day. I work as a network engineer for my client and nowadays they have a lot of changes in their network going on, so it’s really hectic these days.

Coming out of my client office. The only thing that I see is traffic jam on usual days, but today as I was a bit earlier, there wasn’t a lot of traffic on the road as most offices were still going on for a few more minutes. There are a lot of offices around this area and this area is also called the Millennium city Centre.

IMG_8363.jpeg

As the name suggest this area is located right in the middle of the city and there are a lot of offices around this area. My office is just right next to the Metro Station and it’s one of the best offices in the city. This place is well connected with all kind of transportation, medium like rickshaw, Metro and even buses, but instead, I always try to walk back home, just as to complete my evening walk.

IMG_8364.jpeg

There are well defined footpath on the sides of the road as you can see in the photograph above, so it’s not a problem to get back to my home on foot. There are special tiles laid on the footpath for the Blind people that consist of little grooves to guide blind people with their sticks. You can see those grows in the photograph above and by this, I meant to show you guys that how developed this area is.

IMG_8365.jpeg

I was able to see a little bit of traffic, starting to pile up on the road as the time of closing of offices came near. Not only the offices. It was time for some colleges to get over, and so I even saw some college buses on the road.

Every day, when I come back home from office, I see this beautiful hotel on my way. called Pizzerio Hotel. I see towards this hotel and I wonder if I would be able to afford this one day. As living in city, I got to know how difficult life is with an entry level job and big dreams to conquer the city.

But I motivate myself every day and keep on grinding and working hard so that I can make a bright future for me as well as everyone around me. Looking at these tall buildings and these huge roads, I sometime think about my home place in the middle of the mountains where the life is simple, and there is no rushing like the life here in cities.

IMG_8370.jpeg

I prefer that kind of life of living in the mountains and not thinking about the world much, but living in the mountains also made me realise that it’s important to see the other side of the world to if you want to value what the real thing is. Without seeing the other side, you cannot compare the rose and cons of each kind of lifestyle, so that’s why I decided to move to the city to explore this other side of the coin.

IMG_8367.jpeg

My journey is about 3 km long from my office to my home in sector 14. I have to cross a couple of roads via over bridges to get to my place and when I am on top of those bridge the views, I see are just amazing. You can see those views in the photographs below.

The Foot Over Bridge

IMG_8373.jpeg

This area is home to all the major corporate offices in the city like Google, Microsoft, American Express, and many other IT companies too. You can say that this city is the silicon Valley of the northern India.

IMG_8374.jpeg

It was around half an hour. I’ve been walking from my office and now I got in front of this huge building and capture this amazing photograph with a great contrast. This photograph shows building which is well built and is really huge and looks really modern, but right in front of it, there is a tree that’s dry and lifeless. If you are a person like me with an artistic mind, you can depict a lot of explanations out of this scenario and you can imagine a lot of artistic expressions out of it.

My Favourite Photo With A Deep Maning

IMG_8376.jpeg

Let me know in the comments below, if you depict anything out of this particular photograph. I’ll be more than happy to read your comments. My perspective regarding this photograph is that that tree is representing nature and the building is representing the modernisation of the world and as the building is huge as compared to the nature, so nature is slowly dying. That’s the reality of today’s world. That’s what we are doing every damn day and living here in city makes me realise it even more.

The Cycle Lane

IMG_8378.jpeg

Another good thing about this place is that this area of the town has a specific lane for the cyclist to cycle on. Sometimes I think of buying a bicycle to get to my office, but then I realise that it will be summer soon and I won’t be able to even walk on the road in summer. So how would I able to cycle to the office?

IMG_8379.jpeg

On my way back, I see a lot of people trapped in the red race, running around like rats to get back to their holes. I am being a rat myself these days too and experiencing life as a rat. The longer I live here in city, the more I appreciate my simple life back in my hometown.

IMG_8380.jpeg

One thing that really concerns me is the climate change. I’m feeling it so much these days that it’s only February right now and there’s a lot of heat during day time that I sometimes think it’s summer. There has not been a lot of snowfall on the mountains this year and that’s really concerning. The government is not making it a major issue and is busy in a lot of other controversies that are of no use.

IMG_8381.jpeg

Just with some random thoughts like this in my mind and some good music in my ear, I complete my evening walk. It usually takes around 35 to 45 minutes for me to complete it and get back to my home.

IMG_8383.jpeg

It’s usually dark as soon as I get out of my office, but nowadays as the nights are becoming shorter, the more daylight I have to get back.

Here I was in the Old DLF colony in sector 14 where I live.

IMG_8384.jpeg

Today I reached back to my place, just when the evening was meeting with the night, and it was almost dark. You can see the exact situation in the photograph above.

After a long day at work, I usually get tired and don’t have energy to do anything, but today I thought of writing my thoughts here and I feel really good after completing it.

Thanks for passing by.

Peace ☮️
