Namaste 🙏
Hope you are doing great!!!
Difficult roads leads to beautiful destinations. This is rightly said as after all the travel we did in first three parts of the series. Now it was time to reach our destination.
If you haven’t been through the first three parts of the series, I’ll be posting links below for you to check out.
I thank you all for all the support on the first three parts. It encouraged me to write every day. Continuing my journey now, as soon as we turned towards the other side of the mountain that is towards the backside of the mountain, it was full of snow as you can see in the photographs below.
As we were already on quite height in the last part of the series, the only ingredients that was missing at the time was snow. It’s not a week ago up there, but as that part was always facing the sun, so the snow melted away, but as soon as we turned towards the side, there was no sun and snow was still persistent all around.
I was having real fun, driving the motorbike in this fountain Road, full of snow all around me. There was cool wind all around and our hands were starting to freeze a bit, but in spite of that we kept on moving as the view was so tempting that we couldn’t stop even for a while. We just wanted to get to a place where we can stand and soak ourselves in the views.
The road started to break down a little bit now because of snow, and we were having difficulties in driving the bike further, but carefully we got off from that part, and it was all good after that. The road is partially destroyed by the snow at particular points where the water collects the water is the biggest enemy of concrete and other materials which are used to make the roads.
Just felt like I was in middle of a dream when I was there in the woods. On the contrary of previous three parts, where we drove our bike in the empty roads with no tall trees around us, this area of The Mountain was in middle of the woods with tall trees and snow all around us.
The sudden change in the landscape and vegetation made us realise how diverse a single mountain can be just on the other sides of the mountain, where the sun faces, and on the other side, where sun doesn’t face. This shows how important the sun is in deciding the fate of a landscape. It can turn landscape into a desert and it can even turn a place into a dark dense barren land.
We kept on moving further we just wanted to get near to the ground where we can hop off of the bike and roam around a little bit. We also decided to do a little track to a place in between the woods if it looked feasible, so we were really looking forward to a bike and get to the parking spot as soon as possible.
But because of snow on the road, we couldn’t drive faster as it was high chance of kidding and falling on the ground and hurting us, so we slowly kept moving further until we reached the parking space.
Here we were in the middle of the woods, where we need to park our motorbike and hop off of the bike to explore the wilderness of the snowy landscape.
As soon as we got off from the bike, the view we saw was mesmerising. That view is something that I can remember all my life as this was the view that we saw after a long day of riding.
Standing in the snow was a totally different kind of feeling that I was longing for a really long time last year. I was busy somewhere else, so I couldn’t be in my hometown, and I didn’t saw no snow at all, and I was seeing this fresh snowfall after couple of years, and this made me emotional.
I remembered my childhood days when we used to long to snow storms to arrive at our place so that we can play in the snow. Seeing snow made me a kid again.
This was the starting point of the hike that we wanted to do. I’ll be posting about that hike in the next blog.
That’s all for today.
Thanks for passing by.
Peace ☮️

The path here reminds me of the hike I did to MUSHKPURI TOP in Pakistan. But there was no snow on the way, the patchy snow looks beautiful on the way.
