Namaste 🙏

Hope you all are doing great!!!

After crossing the dangerous snowy road near Jalsa region, now we entered Nayalag village. It was indeed an adventurous ride up to the forest and we luckily crossed that on time. We still had an hour of daylight in which we can easily reach our hometown.

If you haven’t been through my last blog, I’ll be posting link below.

This blog is continuation of my journey in my last blog. After crossing that snowy and muddy road, now we started to approach the open areas on top of the mountain. We just need to cross this 1 km of patch to get to the other side of the mountain, and also to the front of the valley.

This patch of this road was really unique. This was because it was the highest point of the mountain or the biggest cliff of the mountain present here. Because of that, you can also see the fencing on the side of the road. Falling from here meant death to prevent any miss happenings, the government had put these fencing on the sides of the road at this particular region only.

We also spotted a couple of cell phone towers now as you can see in the photograph below. We just need to get to the other side of the towers to get to the front of the Valley. These towers were strategically placed on the side of the mountain, so that it covers both the front of The Mountain as well as the side of the mountain. We were approaching them from the side of the mountain, and they also overlook the front of The Mountain.

We had a great time here on the top of this unknown remote place in Himalayas, and now it was time to say goodbye to this place. So we look back one last time to see the high snow capped mountains. They were looking mesmerising as always, and I thought of coming back here soon.

IMG_7323.jpeg

I tried to capture the views of all sides from here as now we would be turning towards the other side of the mountain, and these mountains will be behind us. I wanted to keep the memory of this visit alive forever, so I captured all this photograph, and I’m also posting them here.

The darkness was slowly covering up the mountains behind us, and we realise that we came out of those mountains just in time because the clouds were also slowly gathering on top of the mountains, and there was high chances of a snow storm there.

After staring at those mountains for a while, it was now time to continue our journey, and we slowly approached towards the towers that I just mentioned on the starting part of the blog. We were now coming closer to those towers.

IMG_7318.jpeg

At this time, we were not even on the front of The Mountain, but we could still see a different view from the sidelines. We could slowly spot the wide valley and the mountains on the other side of the valley.

IMG_7324.jpeg

We could also spot the river now for the first time. It meant that we were now approaching the middle of the Valley soon. The view was just as mesmerising as it was from the top from here also. And I couldn’t wait to get on the front of The Mountain.

IMG_7325.jpeg

When we cross these towers, we came across this village on the right side of the road. This was the Nayalag village. This village is situated on the front face of The Mountain and is also situated on the top of it. We could only see a couple of houses from the road as you can see in the photograph above, but the village was consisting of about 15 to 20 houses. Those houses were hidden because of the slope of the mountain, and we didn’t have time to visit that village because it was getting darker with each passing minute.

IMG_7326.jpeg

Now we were in the front of the Valley, and you can see a lot of villages now from the top. We also saw one milestone saying the distance of Pangan village is 7 km from here.

IMG_7328.jpeg

The Pangan Village is almost midway to my village, so it meant that we still had about 15 km of journey left, and we knew that the journey is going to be a Steve decent from The Mountain as my village was situated in the bottom of the Valley and we were still on the top of the mountain.

I’ll be writing about my journey further from this place in the coming blogs.

That’s all for today.

Thanks for passing by.

Peace ☮️

The beauty of nature is really beautiful which keeps our mind happy when you take the photographs from the top of the hill, it really looks very beautiful. The roads in the hilly areas are winding which actually looks very beautiful. However, there are some risks of walking on the hilly roads. So you have to move very carefully. The photographs look very beautiful, best wishes to you.
