Namaste 🙏

Hope you are doing great !!!

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for spending time reading my blogs and motivating me to write more. I would also like to thank the @worldmappin team for #winterchallenge as this has also helped me a lot to write every day. I am a full-time corporate employee and this amazing community of people have made me a part-time traveller. Thanks for giving me such a chance to explore the world and also myself.

So, I was having a really good time in Vrindavan lately, and my recent few blogs will show you that this is going to be the last blog of Vrindavan, so it has to be the most mysterious one. The most mysterious place in Vrindavan is undoubtedly Nidhivan. This is a place where the idea of Shri Bankey Bihari ji was found by Haridas Ji. Also, this is a place which is believed to welcome, Lord Krishna to this date.

IMG_5926.jpeg

What I mean to say was in Nidhivan. It is believed that Lord Krishna come every day during evening time and stay there for night. Needhivan is a dense forest of Tulsi trees and you will see that in coming photographs, it is believed that those trees transformers into Gopi’s and Raasleela is done here.

As already mentioned that we were roaming in the scooter throughout the window in town, so we reached Nidhivan that was about 5 km away from The Banke Bihari Temple. Just like last blog, we got lost and we reach Ranganath Temple, this time also same thing happened.

IMG_5934.jpeg

This time, instead of reaching Nidhivan first, we reached Shahji Maharaj Temple. It was also really well built temple just like the temples in Vrindavan. The only thing that was concerning at this part of the Vrindavan were monkeys. They were a lot of monkeys roaming around everywhere. There, and the thing was that these monkeys were really naughty.

IMG_5933.jpeg

There was also handloom market near to the temple from where we bought a pair of traditional dresses. After visiting the Shaji Temple, we asked the people around for the real direction to Nidhivan.

IMG_5930.jpeg

It was just about 200 m away from there, and the way was really really crowded. As you know that I wear specs, so it was really hard for me to walk there as the monkeys they steal specs from people and ask for some kind of treat which always advisable to keep your specs inside your pocket.

IMG_5929.jpeg

Due to those monkeys, one always have to be attentive in Vrindavan. You can say this is the Leela of Shri Krishna in the photograph below. You can see some monkeys drinking water out of water bottles.

IMG_5938.jpeg

There were we reached Nidhi van after about 200 m of walk but it was over crowded. I was not able to capture all the photographs as I was not even able to reach out to my phone in the pocket, and I was covered from all sides inside of a crowd. It was only when we entered inside, deposited our shoes and entered inside this green coloured complex that led us throughout the forest.

IMG_5946.jpeg

As this forest is considered sacred, you cannot get inside the forest. There is a chamber kind of thing that goes all the way through the forest and guide you to all the temples inside of Nidhivan. We were standing inside of that green coloured chamber and it was suffocatingly crowded. You can see that in the photographs below that how crowded it was, but somehow we kept going and after about an hour of standing in queue, we completed our Parikrama.

IMG_5951.jpeg

I was really stunned to see that some people even had toddlers with them in such a crowd. How can they manage it? That’s what shows the dedication and commitment of people towards Lord Krishna.

IMG_5950.jpeg

And the crowd was moving, really slowly, as there was the temple where the idol of Bankey Bihari was found. People were touching that place and it was taking a lot of time to everyone to get through that after that they are a couple other temples inside of Nidhivan such as Bansi Chori Temple, that’s dedicated to Radha Rani and Shri Haridas G Temple, which is dedicated to Haridas Ji.

IMG_5949.jpeg

Now let me tell you the mystical story story of Nidhivan. It is believed that during night Shri Kishan visit here every night and do as Leela with Radha Rani Ji and Gopi‘s, and after that their bed is made perfectly and when someone comes in morning time that bed is made in such a way that someone has slept over it and no one is allowed to stay there during night.

IMG_5948.jpeg

It is said that we as human forms are not at all developed or prepared to see such divine forms of Lord Krishna and Radha ji. So whosoever has tried to watch it or stay there during night as found to be dead or either made mad during the night. There are even grace of people in the Nidhivan itself who stayed there for night and next day were found dead.

IMG_5947.jpeg

In spite of the fencing all around us, I tried to capture some photographs for you guys to see. I was able to capture this beautiful photograph of this baby monkey through the fencing. Hope everyone likes it as much I do.

IMG_5955.jpeg

IMG_5961.jpeg

We also saw that well, which Krishna dug when one of the Radha ji’s friend was thirsty. It is believed that to drench her thirst Lord Krishna dug this well with his flute.

IMG_5958.jpeg

The below two photographs are the best photographs that I could take out of the fencing to show you guys. The sacred Tulsi Forest called Nidhivan. There is something special about the vibe of this place and I cannot put that in words you have to be there physically to feel that.

IMG_5963.jpeg

It’s indeed a place where Lord Krishna visit every day, and you can feel that in air. The divineness of this forest cannot be expressed in words.

IMG_5964.jpeg

That’s all for today!!!

Radhe Radhe 🙏

Peace ☮️
