Hello Everyone,
As today is Tuesday, it’s day for the biggest thrift market of the state which only opens on Tuesdays at Patlikuhal.
मंगल- TUESDAY
बाज़ार- MARKET
So the name Mangal Bazar is the market that only opens on Tuesdays. It’s the market where everything is thrifted and you won’t believe the price of things when you’ll see them.
The road was full of cars because of Mangal Bazar so we had some trouble finding the parking space for our car and we parked it on the road side.
As soon as we came out of our car, there was one shop selling lowers for as low as 200 rupees per piece and it was not even the starting of the Mangal Bazar.
When we entered the ground where this market is held, we were greeted by a lot of people and shopkeepers yelling the price out of their items.
There were all sorts of items that people were selling their for very cheap price. Be it be belts, caps, shoes, jeans, jackets, and anything you can imagine. You’ll find everything about 80-90% cheap.
There were all sorts of jeans there that were being sold for 200-500 Rs.
Be it be shoes from leather shoes to sneakers and sports shoes. Everything was available there.
These shoes are either first copies or they are used, that’s why they were sho cheap.
I was amazed to see so many people selecting the things they’d like to buy.
The thing that made me smile were those people who were from labour class and couldn’t afford to buy the expensive clothes, they were getting everything here for cheap so that they can keep themselves warm in coming winters.
There was so much going on there that we were getting confused where to go. There were more than 200 shops there and everyone was yelling out the price of their items. It was amazing to see such enthusiasm!
Mainly, people came here to buy cheap warm clothes for winters as to buy new warm clothes, it’s quite expensive.
We could also see the pir panjal range of Himalayas from here while we were roaming around in such busy environment.
I also spotted many foreigners shopping for unique stuff there like caps, biking gear etc. In short, there was possibility of finding a lot of items for cheap here.
If you have a lot of time, you can surely find something that you will like for very cheap. So it’s worth coming here!
That’s all for today!
Thanks for your time.
