Namaste 🙏
Hope you are doing great!!!
It has now been about 15 days. I’ve been home and it’s almost every day that I’ve been going for a morning walk and it’s part of my life now. Today, I decided to walk along the banks of river Beas in national Highway three along with my brother.
It was a perfect winter morning today with a bit of clouds all around us, and we started our journey near to the 15 mile region. We got a lift from our friend till 15 mile and decided to get back to our house on foot.
What a beautiful experience it was working on the national Highway three. We were there around 7 AM in the morning and at that time, there was very less traffic on the road, so it was very peaceful to walk on the road. Somvan was on the left side of the Beas river, and it’s really beautiful patch of tall pine and deodar trees.
Even in the photographs, you cannot see a lot of cars. You might see a couple of cars in some photographs, but let me tell you. There was almost no cars while we were walking there and it was really fun. Cool breeze was flowing from the Beas river towards us, and the views of himalayan ranges of Dhauladhar and Peer Panjal was visible at all times.
In this photograph below and above, now you can see the monastery on top of the cliff. This is the same monastery I visited a few days back and you can see how difficult it was to construct it on such a cliff. Also notice how dangerous it looks from down here.
As this is winter time nowadays, and the Beas river has a very less amount of water in it so the river is looking very small, and the water looks beautiful with shades of blue and green in it. The shades are reflected by the pine Forest on the left side, and the view is overall really amazing.
On top of it, there is another layer of snow clad mountains and all these layers. Just look like a scenery that anyone can imagine.. after looking at such a views, you come to know why this place is called heaven on earth.
Even the sky is adding another layer on top of everything, and this is making everything look so dramatic that you cannot take your eyes off the scenery. In previous blogs, I was showing you guys the view of valley from the middle of the mountain and in this blog, I’m showing you guys, the view of Valley from the very bottom. It doesn’t matter from where we are standing, this valley looks stunning from everywhere.
This road is just perfect for morning bike rides. Also, as we can see, there is plenty of space on the side of the road for bikes on which you can ride your bike safely and enjoy the Tranquillity of this amazing heavily valley.
You can see the view of Jagat Sukh peak from here, which is looking really stunning. There is a lot of snow on the top of the peak nowadays, but climbing on top of it is on my bucket list for this year, and I’ll be doing that track in the summer this year.
After working for around 20 minutes, now, we reached the Somvan Bridge and near to this bridge, we asked one of our friend to pick us up as we had some work in our house today.
Now that I have explore the valley from the very bottom as well as the middle of the mountain. Only thing that’s left is exploring the valley from the top of it. I’ll be doing that very soon and by the time, stay tuned.
So that’s all for today, guys.
Thanks for passing by.
Peace ☮️
