Hmmm!! Always feel bad when I see and expensive abandoned building. At least, the government should use it for something or better break it down and use the blocks for filling of something etc

The town council of that town bought the building not long ago, I don't know what they planned to do, but it would be nice if it were a museum or something touristy.
