That´s some very impressive architecture. Quite different from what I saw on the Azores Islands (also Portugal). Great shots! :)

    1/3 of the way to America, a group of small islands discovered around the time this monastery was getting started to be built. Azores are more like a nature destination. Probably as different from the mainland as Hawaii is different from the USA mainland. Might be on my bucket list.

    Yeah, that sounds like a good comparison. The Azores are mostly about the beauty of nature. Highly recommended to all outdoor enthusiasts :)
