My country - Vietnam is blessed by mother nature with heart touching magnificent landscapes. The interest for Vietnam has been growing dramatically because of many well-known tourist destinations.
Today I want to share you my journey through Hai Van pass which I have traveled many times before. When you come to Vietnam in general and Danang in particular, Hai Van pass is probably one of the coastal roads you can not ignore.
Hai Van pass, which is about 20 km away from Danang city, is considered to be the largest frontier post in my country. This would be the best experience if you're an experienced motorbike rider.
You will be fascinated by spectacular sights, one side is a cliff, mountain and the other is vast blue sea,..
On the way up the pass, you can immerse yourself in many stunning views, one of them the iconic "lonely pine tree". The reason why it was named strangely because it stands alone in the road side among vast landscapes. It looks like a unique drawing in the picture of Hai Van pass. Many teenagers and tourists are keen on visiting this location to check in and capture many stunning photos.
Such a lovely view! On the top of the pass, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Danang city. Hai Van is also well-known for its hairpin turns, dangerous road, and accident warning boards carefully appear regularly along the side.
We took a break in a small tea shop on the side road to enjoy some fruits and watch people driving on the hair-pin curves.
Well, I think the view from the Hai Van mountain pass is phenomenal. While we were eating some snack, we were enjoying the breathtaking views, blue sky, vast sea,...I think all were represented in these below pictures.😀
For me, I experienced many feelings when I travel through Hai Van pass. At first, I was absolutely over the moon to pass through the clouds, pure air,.. After that I was quite afraid when seeing the dangerous bends of the road. Finally, I had a sense of triumph when we got the good view from the top of Hai Van mountain.
What should I recommend for you the best time to go Hai Van pass? Hmm I think at any time, at a nice and clear day as well. In the morning you can watch sunrise at dawn, enjoy some coffee. And in the afternoon, when sunset falls, it's a great way to the clouds hovering around the mountain. The view is extremely unique and magnificent.
It feels like a challenging journey to travel through Hai Van pass. But after that Hai Van mountain pass appears in front of your eyes with the exotic beauty as a reward for your efforts.
