Introduction

Hi everyone it's @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. Today we're going to start our Pinmapple virtual trip around the world with an epic 3 day trip in Rome, Italy. Next we visit a palace in Germany that dates back to 1077, and finally we head over to Philippines where you can lose yourself in the beautiful mountains. Enjoy!

Our winners today 🍍

🥇 Rome | The Battle of the Coliseum by @vaipraonde

" I was impressed by its size, even more so after seeing the Amphitheater of Pompeii, which I had already found large, this one was even more impressive. Imagine how many stories have rolled around there...

Beautiful in the morning, afternoon and evening... when the sun goes down and the lights start to come up, it creates an atmosphere too beautiful to capture. Further ahead there are photos of the Colosseo."

🥈 Hohenzollern Palace in Sigmaringen by @delishtreats

" There was a sign in each chamber reminding visitors not to touch the exhibited items written both in English and German. There was a woman walking a few meters ahead of us who touched everything that was in her reach. First I thought to let it be, but then she annoyed me so much that I asked her if she speaks English or German. She said she spoke both, so I said: And you can read, right? She was confused, but nodded to confirm that she indeed could. Then I pointed to the sign and asked her why she was touching everything if she can understand what is written there. She got embarrassed, turned red and walked away quickly. "

🥉 Caurasan's Dead End Paradise! by @callmesmile

" We traveled winding roads and silent streets filled with lush vegetation not minding the time. As we keep on moving, I noticed that we gradually lost our mobile phone's data connection making it hard to find the location on Google Maps. But I love it, and I believe that this is part of the adventure. We knew we were nearing our destination when we had a partial view of the beautiful hills, mountains, and the sea below. Yay, we're near!"
