A new day, A new Adventure thats what I say!

A long time ago a friend of mine who was into discovering hidden waterfalls told me that there is a hidden waterfall which at the time of his expedition was frozen.

Today was the day when I decided to travel all the way to the place and explore the beauty of that hidden gem in the Himalayas.

IMG_1619.jpeg
It took us around four hours travelling all the way from Mandi to Manali where this place was closer to the isolated village of Manali called Shegli Ksheri Village.

IMG_1634.jpeg
The road to the place was hardly be called as a road as it was even narrower than a trail. I was glad that I came to this place on 4X4 vehicle otherwise it was nearly impossible reaching a place that isolated in the Kullu Valley of Himalayas.

IMG_1637.jpeg
Though the roads were not so great but the views were just amazing. The road was newly constructed and the work was not yet finished. The road all the way from cutting the mountain required a lot of time and manpower as working hard at such an isolated place was really a difficult job. Where you will not even find a single person of any houses. Just the mountains and the trees.

It was month of May, Summers and the place to be honest felt like winters! Cool breeze, fresh lush green grass made this place not less that an paradise for nature lovers. Even it was my first time exploring a place like this. The cellular network was also not available at the place. I would say it was actually a good ting that the people who would visit this place would actually enjoy their surroundings rather than just getting busy with their mobile phone. Taking pictures, having a good time with friends and family It was a go to place.

IMG_1647.jpeg
As told to me by my friend who had been to this place last winters, he told me about hiking all the was straight where the road would look like a trail and it would be difficult for vehicles to pass away.

IMG_1648.jpeg
So was this starting point. from where we started out hike. There were few of the mountain peaks which were still covered with the snow even in the summers. The place felt so peaceful as the trail through the mountain would led us to a hidden waterfall.

IMG_1650.jpeg
As we were covering up the distance narrower was the trail becoming. The waterfall was just at the backside of the place that could be seen in the picture.

IMG_1651.jpeg
It took us around an hour so so reaching this place from the location when we started our hike. Mostly it was just about walking up straight as it was nearly the top of the mountain to where the road led us to. We were at around 3200 m above the sea level.

IMG_1655.jpeg
We even saw this tiny home that someone would have constructed. Which was un finished, nobody knows about the story behind the unfinished house at this place. My friend told that even he saw this house when he visited this place during winters when the whole area was covered under the thick blanket of snow and only half of the portion of the house was seen visible and rest was drowned under the snow.

IMG_1662.jpeg
After hiking and walking for a while were saw the beautiful Waterfall. That looked so beautiful just right in the middle of the mountain. No body knew about this place not even the locals as this place was too isolated in the peaks of Himalayas.

IMG_1663.jpeg
My friend got to know about this place when he was on his expedition to crossing the whole Himalayan range of Dhauladhar and he found this spot during winters when this waterfall was frozen.

IMG_1664.jpeg
It was time for me now exploring this hidden gem in the summers.

Here are few of the Photographs that I captured of the Waterfall so that you guys could get the true picture of the place being captured maybe for the first time!

IMG_1681.jpeg
We stayed at the place for a while and It was now finally time to go back.

IMG_1683.jpeg
It was around 3PM and we still had to drive for around 4 hours in order to reach the place where we came from.

Hidden waterfalls and exploring the Himalayas? That's like a dream come true! 😍😍

Yes, I was a dream come true... A dream that I once had when I used to wonder about such places and now when I get a chance to explore such places I just feel so grateful as I share such stories with the people across the globe.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the view, but finding it is definitely a challenge. But being in the middle of nowhere is part of the magic.😂 Driving on such a crazy road is only for expert drivers. 😂 I'm not sure it's a good idea for new drivers to go there. 😂 Great photos! 👍

Thanks for passing by @tinabrezpike The views were just amazing, to be very honest the roads were kinda of playing a video game in which we had to climb the mountains 😅 A new driver would defiantly had a lofe long moment over here. 😅 Thanks for your precious time. 🙏

Woah!! This is great. How I wish I could experience that too.

What a beautiful place @pranavinaction It is a perfect spot to reconnect with nature. It is not only perfect for hiking or trekking, it is also a best place to do camping every summer.
