A lovely day, full of happiness, full of life, full of joy and love began being so close to the nature somewhere around 5 to 6 hours away from the Solang village where at that moment, we finally got an opportunity to experience an oasis, and I will be sharing my experience with you guys through this post.
Just wondering the trails nearby as the story began from the Last woods of Shagadugh as the expedition was quite a long story, so I decided to break it into small patches as the whole expedition was of more than 13 km so covering the whole journey in just a single blog! I don’t think it would provide a better experience to you guys, so I decided that why not to share and make share Stories of that I was in my expedition of wondering the endless mountain of Solang Valley.
So somewhere around half an hour away from Shagadugh to the place that you guys can see right in front of us, that was nowhere land and by the side we found an Oasis found in the desert, but this particular portion of the Himalayas was not less than a desert as it was somewhere between Pir Panjal Himalayan Range and the Himalayan Range of Zanskar the cold himalayan desert.
So I think we could consider this place as aland between the two Himalayan Ranges, this place was kind of dry as it was the hike before the fall. As you guys can see the landscapes they were just amazing and insane.
Oasis- of the Himalayas.
Just wondering by the Meadows, I found an oasis, so it was by the collection of the water from the nearby bodies and melting of the glacier that took place quite a while in the summer. It was shaping out and making a sort of lake.
Just wondering around the trail and at certain points, even the trail used to get lost as maybe the trail was formed by the ancient Himalayan Shepherd who had been living here from a very long time ago, there were a lot of trails at this place maybe it was formed by melting of snow and ice of water through the glacier and maybe by the animals that they use the trail and usually gather by the side of the Oasis for drinking water. There even were a lot of footsteps of different animals by the side of the Oasis.
There were several colours of the nature seen in the oasis as you guys can see right in front of us and write in front of us. The reflection and the clouds were seen on the water in the Oasis.
There were these magical reflections right into the lake as you guys can see in the photographs that I have shared with you guys and the reflection of the sky, the clouds and the mountains or something that presented and it acted as a mirror to nature. There were several colours on the oasis and few of them they were yellow, the shades of brown and the shades of green to o at several places, I don’t know. I was not sure that was this place of this lake filled with different colours. Maybe watch it from the reflection or was the colour of the water just like that. There even were big footsteps and the size had grown from a normal bears foot step to that of its double.
Maybe that would be because of the water in the lake or the oasis that has grown big or maybe that would a totallay a different creature.
I was not sure about the depth of the Ossis and getting closer to the Oasis was even a risky task as there was swamp at certain points of the Oasis, so just wondered it would be kind of deep as the water here was just melting from years and years by the glacier nearby, and this water was for the wild animals during the time of the summer and this place is usually quite dry,
Making it only the place for a source of water.
I would be pin-pointing the exact location on the Pinmapple Map So that even you guys could get to know about this hidden location in this wonderland and whenever you want to explore this particular place could experience such hidden beauty of the Himalayas as there are various pathways to the summit of this top of the mountain and other places like Shagadugh and the last Woods, but this particular trail that I was following I will be pointing out the location.
There were endless stories and endless perceptions about the magical Himalayas, the endless stories, the words the ancient perception about different places over here and the northern Himalayas something that each and every single person believe few of them they do are right now, guys lot of stories about the hidden Himalayas over here in this particular particular portion of Kullu Valley.
I would like to express one of the story with you guys through this post as few of the local people, usually of Pangan region used to say that there used to be seven different lakes somewhere around that particular mountain region, and and most of the people usually decided to go and hike, and find all of the seven lakes, and they believe that if anyone in their lifetime finds all of the seven lakes, they are considered to be lucky and good luck follows them, and most of the people they just followed the same, but lot of people they just failed about the same.
Even I decided to explore the hidden seven lakes and I have been there on one or two of them, but it was really very difficult to explore the other other himalayan lakes. The thing is that usually most of the times the lakes are covered under a thick blanket of snow and there is a lot of snow over there as they are from different altitude, and sometimes most of the people used to go to the interior valleys of Himalayas and they used to get lost as They even GPS tracking is really very difficult and it’s very difficult to find the person who has lost during the hike and during such expeditions!
There was a story quite a few years ago that a paraglider was just doing cross country fly and was coming from Dharamsala to Manali on his paraglider and on his GoPro camera, he recorded a hidden lake that was quite large, and when few other people they used to point the location out they found nothing. It was really very strange guys. As even I have seen that video clip that there was a beautiful lake over there and most people when they found it, there was nothing maybe there were a lot of mysteries about the same or was it something related to the ancient stories.
