Wat Chiewchankit

Wat Chiewchanakit was built in 1927 by Khun Chiewchanakit (former headman of Nong Trut sub-district) who donated the land.
The original name of this temple was Nam Cha. Later, the name was changed to Wat Chiewchanakit to honor the creator.
The temple received the royal charter of the boundary of the temple on November 10, 1972.
The temple has a total area of 24 rai 60 square wah. Luang Pho Mek was the first abbot, and currently Phra Somut Somsak Aphatharo is the abbot.

Hello friends, today I sent my daughter to a camp at Thai Rath Witthaya School at 7:00 AM. After sending my daughter, I drove back to Na To Ming Subdistrict. I passed a very beautiful temple. Before going home, Fon took the opportunity to stop by and admire the beauty of this temple in the morning with my wife. I drove inside through the temple gate. When I got out of the car, I walked back to the temple gate in front to take pictures of the atmosphere in front of the gate and the name sign. The name sign of the temple gate says Wat Chiew Chan Kit. Then I walked inside and took pictures of the wall next to the temple gate. In this area, there are ashes of the deceased along the wall and there are coffins lined up along the wall.

I walked back to the temple area. The first thing I saw was many dogs running towards me. All the dogs looked very fat and healthy. Luckily, this morning I went for a run and exercised. The dog food that I brought to feed the dogs was still in my bag, so I fed the dogs. I walked to the front of the church. In front, there is a prominent yellow Buddha statue base. Then I walked back to the front of the church. I took pictures of the church, the front and sides, including the windows and doors.

This temple is very beautiful. I walked around taking pictures outside the temple, taking both close-up and distant shots, then I walked to the temple door, which is the front door and can be opened to enter. When entering the temple,
Inside the temple, there is a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture.
Before leaving the temple, I took pictures of the inside of the temple and went outside to see the atmosphere, the greenery, and the beauty of this temple.

I walked around the temple. Today, there were many big trees. And every tree has been ordained.
The trees here are tied with monk's robes. Around the trees
The atmosphere is very shady. I really enjoyed walking around the temple.
I walked until I reached the pavilion with a thatched roof. There were 2 Naga on the stairs. Inside the pavilion, there was a Buddha statue.

The area around the temple is shady. The large trees spread their branches, making the temple cool and very peaceful. It is very suitable for practicing Vipassana. I walked around and took pictures until I reached an area that looked like a monk's hut. In this area, there is a small pavilion and a Dharmachakra in front and a Buddha statue in the back. The garden next to it is probably a monk's hut. I walked to the temple wall. There is a large banyan tree and robes wrapped around the large banyan tree. In this area, there are coffins and ashes of the deceased along the wall as well.

I saw the bell tower next to the church, so I walked over to take a picture. It was a perfect moment. There was some new construction in that area. In front of the church door, I asked the uncle who was working there if I could go inside the church. The uncle asked me back if the church door was open or closed. I told him that the door was still stuck. The uncle told me that I had to wait for the abbot to open the door first. I thanked him and I didn't want to bother him. I asked permission to continue walking around the temple. The uncle told me to go as I pleased.

As my wife and I walked around the temple, the area of the funeral hall or the place where the temple is held, which is clearly separated. Monks and laymen live in separate areas. I think it's very good. Since I wrote an article about the temple and the place,
I was very impressed by the arrangement of the buildings, whether it's a church or a temple, even the monks' quarters, which are all separate and look very clean and comfortable.
I was very lucky. While walking around the temple,
the monk, who is a monk in the temple, happened to walk by and asked me about visiting the temple.
Then the monk took me to see the church. The monk opened the church door, opened the windows in the hall, and turned on the fan. Then the monk took me and my wife to worship the Buddha in the church and introduced us to the monks in the church and the construction of the church and the temple. Now the monk told me that this church is being renovated. Inside the church, the electrical wiring has been rewired and the paint has been repainted. The monk welcomed me warmly.

The monk told me to follow him. My wife and I followed him to the forest park. There was a bridge over a pond. There was a wooden pavilion and many small pavilions. In this area, there were many big trees. Everything looked shady and beautiful. The atmosphere was very natural.
The monk stopped by the kuti. My wife and I waited in front of the kuti. The monk came with 2 bags of fish food. The monk took me and my wife to feed the fish in the pond that the temple had raised. When we crossed the bridge and went inside, we found a pond with a floating raft. My wife and I let the monk get on the raft. Then we fed the fish. The monk said that we could touch the fish’s head with our hands. I also raise them in the garden, friends. But the fish at this temple are very big, especially the giant catfish. When the monk let me touch the fish’s head with my hands, I tried to hold it. In conclusion, the fish were very familiar. The fish did not run away or get startled. We could touch their heads while feeding them. There are many species of fish in this pond.
After I had finished feeding the fish, the monk advised and invited me about doing Vipassana. Because the temple has many vacant huts for accommodation, you can come and stay and practice Vipassana here. So I would like to thank the Venerable Master. Both me and the Venerable Master, including my wife, everyone talked about Dhamma. I felt the joy with the place and the joy with the Dhamma that was communicated. I told the Venerable Master that I had never been to this place before. It was just nearby. I was like a Naga sleeping in a cave. The Venerable Master laughed. (If I have a chance, I will have to come back here again.)

Then the monk took me to the back of the temple. In this area, there are antiques, which are 2 boats, which are old boats and antiques of this temple. Now, they are in the process of renovating some parts, so the boats are kept in this area, including the big gong. In this area, there is a building to store antiques, a Buddha statue in meditation pose under a big tree wearing a robe. In the back, there is an ancient cremation area, which is a cremation yard. I don't know if my friends know it or not. Then the monk took me to the crematorium area. This area is an open area. Then we walked back to the pavilion. Before going back, I stopped to make merit in the pavilion, which has a large Buddha statue inside. But it's a pity that I took a picture with my wife's phone. I didn't post it. When it was finished, I made merit and said goodbye to the monk. I was very full of merit and happy today. Today, I would like to take my leave.
