Thung Hin Phut Temple

Hello friends, after I visited Wat Kuan Na Kae, I turned on my phone to search for nearby temples using GPS as a guide. There was a temple not far from Wat Kuan Na Kae. It took about 7 minutes to drive there. The GPS told me that. I set the target coordinates and drove to Wat Thung Hin Phut. When I arrived at Wat Thung Hin Phut, I drove and turned left into the door in front of the crematorium, where there were many people in the hall and wearing black. I looked at the crematorium and saw a cremation ceremony. So I drove past that point and looked ahead. I saw the temple gate and many Buddha statues. The temple here is quite small, but the lawn is quite wide, like a football field.

Then I parked my car at the entrance arch of the temple. Wat Tung Hin Phut The entrance arch is in the style of Thai architecture with colors and letters that stand out beautifully. In the temple grounds, I noticed a small white pavilion. And especially Wat Tung Hin Phut, there is a simple but beautiful pagoda.

In the temple area, there are many Buddha images in various postures, which I walked around to see and take pictures of. The Buddha image in meditation posture is enshrined outdoors. This Buddha image is quite large and is enshrined not far from the entrance archway. It can be seen clearly and there seems to be a lot of worship with red water and incense sticks in front of the Buddha image. Yesterday, after seeing these pictures, I went in to pay my respects before walking to see different corners of the temple.

On the right hand side, opposite the Buddha statues that are lined up, on the right hand side is a small red pavilion with a hermit. It is a statue of a hermit sitting on his knees with a long beard in this area. It looks quite strange, so you took a picture.

Then I walked into the area where there were Buddha statues. This area had big trees, which looked very shady and cool. In this area, there were many Buddha statues. These standing Buddha statues may have different sizes, from life-size to large. Some of them may be in the blessing posture, while some may be in the preventing relatives posture or other postures. I don't know all of them. I walked around the temple. I felt that there were quite a few Buddha statues in this temple.

The back of the Rishi Hall is an area with a fence. The fence is not high, but it is a fence that allows you to see the Ganesha shrine, which is near the monks' quarters. He is a Hindu god, if I remember correctly, who is widely respected in various countries. Ganesha is known as the god of success. I noticed from the offerings to ask for blessings in various matters, which means that the locals here must have a lot of respect. I noticed from the red water and incense sticks in front of the Buddha statue, which are full of these things.

Thung Hin Phut is located at Thung Nanui House No., Village No. 1, Na Bin La Subdistrict, Mueang Trang District, Trang Province. It belongs to the Mahanikaya sect. This temple was built in 1917.

When walking around the temple, you will see a wax figure, which is a wax figure of the abbot, along with a photo in a glass case. It is in this area, which is fenced with iron and has a place to worship. So I went in to pay my respects before walking to see other places. The abbot of Wat Thung Hin Phut has developed the temple in many ways, building a monk's residence, a Dharma hall, a chapel, or a church. In this area, there are many monks' residences, each with a monk. A monk came up to ask me about walking around the temple and taking photos, so I talked to him and told him that I came to see the temple and take photos to write on the blockchain. He and I got along well because he told me that he is a radio host. In addition, the abbot also built a school and various pagodas in the temple.

In this area, there is a fairly large pagoda and a pavilion. The pagoda mentions Luang Pho Eiad, who passed away. This pagoda contains his ashes in the pagoda at Wat Thung Hin Phut for the faithful to pay homage. In this area, in addition to the large pagoda, there is also a pavilion that is beautifully built in this area.

Then I walked back to the original spot. At first, I didn't think this area would be a church. The monk said that this was a church, and in front was the church area or the monks' area. It was a very simple area, different from other temples I've been to. So I walked around the church taking pictures.

When I walked around the church, the ancient site, behind the temple wall, there were pagodas for the ashes of the deceased, set up in rows. Overall, this temple is a place where the villagers gather. This temple has a lot of faith from the villagers because there are many Buddha statues in various postures. Today, I have to say goodbye. If I have a chance, I will take pictures of the temple for my friends to see again.
