Hello everyone, today I will take you to see a temple in Trang Province. Traveling to this temple is convenient because I traveled in the afternoon and there were no traffic jams. This temple is called Wat Mai Fat. The atmosphere along the way is very good because most of the roadsides are large trees. And the route I took to this temple, I could drive to the sea, which is Trang Sea, such as Pak Meng Beach, Chao Mai Beach. In the past, I often drove past this route, including this temple. Because in the past, I drove a backhoe for hire, so I had to travel often and was not in one place, so I have never been to this area.
When I arrived at Wat Mai Fat, the front of the temple was very beautiful. I parked my car in front of the temple. Then I walked across the road to the temple with my camera and phone as usual. When I arrived at the temple, I noticed many people inside the temple. It seemed like they gathered to maintain and clean the temple, especially the temple's dining hall. I took a picture. The photography began. When I entered the temple, not far from the front of the temple, I saw a Buddha statue on a throne with 7 Naga serpents spreading out to protect me from behind. This Buddha statue is called the Buddha in the Naga Parak posture.
And when walking to the other side of the pavilion, you will see a picture of Luang Pho Sut Sangkharat, who is the former abbot of Wat Mai Fat. And more importantly, he is a gay monk who is highly respected by the villagers of Sikao District and Trang Province. The statue of Luang Pho is a likeness made in a sitting position with his legs crossed and wearing a robe. So I went in to pay homage. Then I walked around the temple and took some pictures.
This Guan Yin statue is located in the middle of an open area amidst sunlight. No matter which angle you look at it from, you will see the outstanding white statue amidst the temple's surroundings. It is a point where people come to pay homage. In addition, this area also has a bell tower with beautiful Thai colors.
Phra Sangkachai is enshrined in front of the building near the booth. Inside the building, there are villagers cleaning, sweeping, and mopping. I noticed that I asked for permission to take a picture of the Buddha statue inside the building.
When I got permission to take photos from the locals who were cleaning the area, I walked into the building to take photos of the Buddha statue sitting in the building, sitting in a meditation posture, Mara-Vijaya posture. The emerald green color is very beautiful. In addition, there is a donation box in this area.
Then I walked to the front of the church. This temple is very beautiful, especially the Buddha statues, sitting in rows along the church walls. There are statues of elephants and Nagas. As I said, Wat Mai Fat has many Buddha statues both inside and outside. So I walked to the church door and took pictures into the church area. There are also many Buddha statues in the church area.
The characteristics of the building Wat Mai Fad which has a Thai-style building with a beautiful recessed roof. The decorations are decorated with gold patterns. It should be a prayer hall or other important buildings in the temple. There are many buildings, which are very beautiful.
Wat Mai Fad
This is a temple of the people belonging to the Mahanikaya sect located in Village No. 3, Tambon Mai Fad, Amphoe Sikao, Trang Province.
This temple is an old temple. Inside the temple, there are many Buddha statues: Guan Yin, Phra Sangkachai, and a statue of the abbot. This is the place where the hearts and minds of the community of Tambon Ban Mai Fad gather and perform religious ceremonies.
After taking pictures of the church area and walking around the church, I then walked to the crematorium, which is about 150 meters away from the church. It is decorated in the same color tone as the church, which is also beautiful. The decorations are beautiful and delicate with Thai patterns. Inside the temple, there are open spaces and trees, although not many, there are some, which are palm trees. The temple looks clean and comfortable to the eyes. This place is suitable for worship and meditation, especially for relaxing the mind.
I think I will take pictures and walk around the temple area, so I walked to take pictures at the exit again.
